ganeshran
Wickets are coming too slow on this wicket :headshake: Link to comment
carnish
this is even worse than the patta at ahmedabad.... and mumbai over the last 10-12 years has been india's worst venue... in tests... i guess we should ban mumbai along with ahmedabad and hyderabad for preparing these flat wickets... King Tendulkar
This is horrible pitch. Our bowlers have actually bowled well, yet look at windies score Link to comment
saneindian
MSD's captaincy has been pedestrian as well. Too many easy runs. He has been too defensive since yesterday. Plus bowlers haven't bowled to the field. Day 4 and 5 could see this one take a lot of turn. And above all Windies batting has been very good. Every loose ball has been punished, have attacked the spinners and taken lots of singles. Link to comment

Bachu, Wankhede over the years had the reputation of having good, sporting pitches..since you started watching cricket, Wankhede hosted six matches and five of them produced results. Ain't that a good record for a sub-continent pitch? This pitch has been a disgrace though. Link to comment
CSK Fan
Even this rookie is hinting that it should have been Ishant who was "rested." He probably thinks how is this camel in the team for so long when doing nothing. Dude Link to comment

express bowling
He shouldn't have made any comment about team selection IMO. True. Link to comment
Trichromatic
Can't recall the last time when a top team struggled for every single wicket at home against a minnow team without their single experienced batsman and with mostly new batsmen. This pitch has been absolute disgrace. Link to comment
rkt.india
This pitch was better without grass. Link to comment

saneindian
50.5 Ashwin to Brathwaite, no run, 79.2 kph, Laxman at backward short leg again. Dropped. This isn't even low or too far from him. Turns in sharply as he looks to defend, the inside edge travels, knee high to Lamxan's right, he gets a hand to it, but it doesn't stick Brathwaite was on 57* 59.3 Sehwag to KA Edwards, 1 run, 71.8 kph, half chance for Kohli at FSL. This seems to have gone straight off the face of the bat, wide of Kohli. Very difficult to take those 70.4 Sehwag to KA Edwards, no run, 74.1 kph, they were excited about a chance down the leg side as Edwards looked to work this to leg. Dhoni failed to catch it. replays show a clear edge. Half chance, but a drop nonetheless Edwards was on 33* 78.3 Ojha to Bravo, 1 run, 89.2 kph, Dravid has dropped one at slip. He hasn't been in great slip form over the last two years, except for the Kolkata Test. This is the straighter one from Ojha, Bravo pushes, gets edge, Dravid is late to react, and is hit on the thumb. Bravo was on 34 4 chances not taken so far. No wonder we are suffering. Dravid_TheWall
Never judge until both sides have batted. But yes, it is a lifeless pitch. Link to comment
