carnish
remember in dominica dhoni pulled out of 180 runs chase in 47 overs . now we know why cause had today sehwag not played that innings of 60 india wouldnot have been anywhere closer to the total and we might have collasped... and sehwag want there in that game.... it was just because of that sehwag innings that india went for the chase today and yet were unable to make it... saneindian
Well done West Indies! Even though the scoreline reads 2-0, WI played much better than that. Whole hearted effort from a very young team led by such an admirable captain in Sammy. Especially their effort today with two and a half bowlers was commendable. They had their moments at Delhi and in this test were ahead till day 4. Even at Eden their 2nd innings batting was a wonderful effort. Sammy and his boys should be proud of themselves. Kudos to them. :hatsoff: Link to comment
carnish
OP.... u rock... great exhibition for tests... just the wrong opposition against whom it came.... had it been against south africa or england this match would have been elevated to be one of the best ever :--D Link to comment

Number
Sammy looks like a top thinking captain. His field placing were perfect. Changed it according to the situation very well. Great captaincy in this match.:hatsoff: Well done WI. Link to comment

carnish
only because of sammy that they showed some competition. We hear so many people calling for his head saying that he is not an automatic choice in the team but see here he is taking the most wickets for them and his captaincy throughout the series has been excellent. He is one talented cricketer who knows his game and reads the match situation perfectly... had he had a slight better team he would be doing wonders now... Credit to Lara junior too... played too good Link to comment
Ultimate_Game
Sammy is a pretty good captain and a much better player/bowler than what he's given credit for. He has done pretty well with the limited resources at his disposal. But one thing you have to mention is that he's way too negative. It was amazing to see WI have such a defensive field with fielders posted on boundaries throughout even after posting a score of 590!!! Surely he needs to be at least a bit more positive and have more faith in his team as you don't play the game just "not to lose". Link to comment
