Sid Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Yes that is right! Since winning the world cup, both appear are playing ordinary and not taking this series very seriously. They should take each game seriously and not treat it like a net session. Dare I say it they should take a leaf out of Santh's glowing book, he is working hard to regain fitness and has made himself available for Aus ODI series despite winning the world cup! The hunger is there..these two fat midgets are not taking this series seriously and playing each ball on its merit. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: You're funny Sree, try your luck for a comic role in any upcoming mallu movie :two_thumbs_up:
Pagalpanti Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I agree with the main point though...Viru and Gauti need to be dropped and need to earn their places in the ODI team all over again Oh dear...
Magneto Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 But OP makes a little bit of sense as well. Viru and Gauti need not be dropped, but they do deserve 'one tight slap' each.

They should be back in form soon. p.s. Sree's glowing book - Link
Sachin=GOD Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I would somewhat agree about Veeru and Gauti. They have hardly performed in ODIs in 2011 and are not looking serious about the shorter format. I also mentioned in the other thread that oppositions have stopped fearing Veeru as he is hardly scoring runs in recent times. Gauti who used to be extremely consistent is also going down the line in ODIs. Maybe time to replace them with Kohli and Rohit when the full strength team returns unless they start scoring again. I agree with the main point though...Viru and Gauti need to be dropped and need to earn their places in the ODI team all over again sad to see how people can forget years of outstanding contributions because of a couple of bad series' that these players have had.
carnish Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 The Australian tour might just get ruined because of these out of form players.... yes i know class is permanent but while the temporary form is missing we should play someone who has the form rather than going for class... we still trail west indies by 13 ODIs in head to head ... this series like the one in windies home was oppourtunities to pluck the gap but this team hasnt been able to do so because of continuous failure of our top order batters... and its the same reason why we lost in england... hope something is done about this else our class batsmen will soon turn into pakistani misbahs and afridis... :nervous:
Iconoclast Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Oyee .. stop hating on the Viru .. didn't you guys see that medal he got today from Dishonorable Chief Minister Narendra Modi ? :giggle:
Dravid_TheWall Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 Dude I thought you were honestly backing the guy because of his talent but statements like these make me suspect you have some PR mgmt contract with him. Are you really serious about that statement...its quite absurd to say that he is making himself available for Aus ODI series when he is not even in the priority list of bowlers and can only make it if at least 5 or 6 of our top bowlers all get injured. His only hope is to perform well in Ranji trophy which he doesn't seem to play enough. I was actually surprised he hasn't played even 50 Ranji games since his debut almost 7 seasons ago. And he has had the opportunity to represent his state for the most part for almost the whole season in the last few years. I am talking about Sree's own statement he said recently, not my thoughts. He has made himself available for ODI series and he played world cup final. He is still very much part of ODI team. Anyway I don't want to divert thread, just replying back to you dude!
