Magneto Posted December 6, 2011 Author Posted December 6, 2011 And with him they still might. Stay tuned. That does not take away from the fact about all the wrong reasons he is playing Ranji after announcing his retirement from the FC game a couple of years back only to be back for his selfish gains i.e getting ready for the IPL. He has 'unretired' from FC cricket because the team needs him. Seriously!
Magneto Posted December 6, 2011 Author Posted December 6, 2011 Saurav :COngrats man .Happy for you :) Thanks man!
rajmarie Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Most of the juicy bits are not politically correct for a reputed site to publish. For example, the 'cheater, cheater' chants that were reverberating all around the stadium after Kohli was given out. They got resurrected after Raina got out and finally reached a crescendo after the umpire declared Jadeja out only to retract his decision. The way the crowd 'boo-ed' every West Indian wicket that fell. The way Hyatt was heckled by the crowd when they called him by every 'hotel' name they know. I can liberally say all that at ICF, but cricinfo has to edit out those bits. Thanks for telling me about the 'Fan Following' section. :-) No need to thank. It was your great write-up that got published. Maybe you can start your blog...or continue on cricinfo...or here at ICF. Its always a great reading. Still hoping that you get your visas cleared & be at day 1 down under......& give us great insite from 1 of the stands in Australia stadiums & we can see if fans behave the same
Magneto Posted December 6, 2011 Author Posted December 6, 2011 Down Under is not happening ... will get busy with something then ... sad, but true. I hope I can at least catch the matches on TV.
1983-2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Where is East Point College? My college days were over quite a few years back. Also, I spell my name 'Saurav' and not 'Sourav'. hahaha LOL, i googled ur name to se if u were a blogger but then i came across this video which had ur name on it, btw congrats for making it to the world's largest cricketing website
Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 you should stick to writing on ICF. no limit on length, and no PG13 restrictions.
Old guy Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 good work! ur articles here are much better than cricinfo regular articles they are plain boring (im talking abt matches) i only go there to check scores and stats :P
CoolSach Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Loved it, you are a prolific writer Saurav Da :nice:
Magneto Posted December 7, 2011 Author Posted December 7, 2011 hahaha LOL' date=' i googled ur name to se if u were a blogger but then i came across this video which had ur name on it, btw congrats for making it to the world's largest cricketing website[/quote'] Hey thanks, but I do have quite a few google entries here and there. :P
Magneto Posted December 7, 2011 Author Posted December 7, 2011 Manny - It's true that ICF offers you all the freedom to write, which is a great thing. And also a bunch of pretty sensible readers. Phaedrus - Thanks Man! Sabby - I am sure the cricinfo writers are pretty good as well (they do an awesome job with the commentary); it's just that professional writing has too many limitations. Glad you liked my write-up! Coolsach - Thanks. The idea is to be as prolific as possible, but I am tooo lazy :-(
Old guy Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 yep i do love commentary.. but main articles or story what ever they call it are too predictable u dont get excited or anything even after editing wht u wrote gave feeling u were there or even i was there xD
Magneto Posted December 7, 2011 Author Posted December 7, 2011 Haha, you are right! They need to get some excitement back in their articles.
Old guy Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Mithun Chakraborty of cricket dude i dont know u need to get to australia -_- is aaron and yadav same guy lmfao
MCcricket Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 What happened I guess lol Narendra Modi's shadow even brings bad luck to his state.

Jersey #10 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Good one but I have to agree with you, not the same feel as the ones you wrote for ICF Talking of restrictions, i feel that page2 of cricinfo is pretty laid back compared to the articles on the real site.
