Yep this year it's gone cut android market share I am getting very good price for my one ...it's tempting to sell it and buy something new :--D
Sachin=GOD Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Yep this year it's gone cut android market share I am getting very good price for my one ...it's tempting to sell it and buy something new :--D Yeah...till now the smaller screen size was a big reason for many ppl to for android even if they liked apple. Thats about to change. Nexus 5 :agree: I have used quite a few phones but NONE of them even comes close to the smooth, lag free performance of the N5. It is simply incredible. Or go for something different - Gionee or Xiaomi or OnePlus.

I can get nexus 5 by adding 2 k from my pocket after selling but I will wait for few weeks and see new releases Even iphone is option because of stuff they added specially key board but maybe I should stick with one for one more year...:sniffle:

Wait till end of the year and if N6 comes out go for it. There are also rumors of Android Silver next year...
velu Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 in ws retail .. HTC M8 - 45K Sony Z2 - 49K Galaxy S5 - 36.5K S5 is also a good buy considering its cheaper price.. i read a newsletter b4 S5 release that n/w providers asked samsung not to go for premium pricing for S5.. looks like samsung didnt listen and wanted to copy apple pricing too :hehe: ended up offering buy 1 get 1 in a 2 year deal in verizon ( 200 USD free for the ither connection but monthly rental is applicable ) ..

Sachin=GOD Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 there is no nexus 6 as far as my source tells ( few of my friends r in LG ).. for android silver series i hope google does the updates instead of samsung or lg or htc Yeah...its certain that LG isn't making it (if N6 is there at all)...2-3 days ago I read that an LG executive had said oenly that they have not been contacted by google till now so obviously LG isn't making it. I do hope that the N6 does come out before they close the Nexus line. As for Android Silver, I think one of the major conditions given by google will be updates from google instead of samsung/lg/htc etc.
Sachin=GOD Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I guess I will sell now and make do with dumb phone for month or two :giggle: Well, no point in that unless you think that you will get a substantially higher rate now than you can get in 2-3 months for you One.
Old guy Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Well' date=' no point in that unless you think that you will get a substantially higher rate now than you can get in 2-3 months for you One.[/quote'] Let's say person knows me and knows how much carefully I use my devices so the higher price but offer will expire in month or so ...

Sachin=GOD Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Let's say person knows me and knows how much carefully I use my devices so the higher price but offer will expire in month or so ... then its a different matter...go for it. that is good .. :two_thumbs_up: definitely samsung is not there for N6 .. only moto and htc left .. ll be fun if google gives a shock t samsung by releasing N6 by moto.. lenova too has mass manufacturing capacities like LG and samsung looks like Android 5.0 ll be a major release After seeing Motorola's phones in the last one year I would love to see N6 by them. And yes, Samsung will definitely be shocked and will be under lots of pressure from the iPhone 6 and the N6 if its made by Moto. Any chance of Android 5 coming out next week in the I/O?
Old guy Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I am worried android silver will be expensive like google play editions phone
Sachin=GOD Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I am worried android silver will be expensive like google play editions phone All reports till now suggest that Silver will be a premium Android experience hence it will be a bit expensive.
StriKe Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 All reports till now suggest that Silver will be a premium Android experience hence it will be a bit expensive. Expensive but will be less than iPhone.
Sachin=GOD Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Jolla Launcher brings the Sailfish OS experience to Android next week Nokia’s not the only player in town with Android launcher news today, and while its new Z Launcher may be grabbing all the headlines, we’ve also just picked up on word of another new launcher, nearly ready to head out. And like Nokia, with its Symbian roots and move to Windows Phone, we’re looking at a release from another company more traditionally associated with a platform other than Android: Jolla. While work on Sailfish OS continues, Jolla’s releasing what it calls its Jolla Launcher in an effort to give Android users a preview of how Sailfish looks and feels. Alpha testing of the Jolla Launcher begins next week, with signups open now. In general, phones running Android 4.3 or better will be supported, but Jolla’s primary focus is on the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. Users interested in bring part of this test group can find registration instructions through the source link; just please be ready and willing to provide Jolla feedback on your experience with the launcher – this is an alpha test, after all. Some of our favorite experiences with Sailfish OS have stemmed from the easy navigation and swipe controls, so it will be great to see Jolla bringing those same kind of interactions to Android users with this launcher. We’re not sure just how much of an effect it might have on convincing Android users to make the jump to Sailfish full-time, but it’s as good a way to promote awareness of the platform as we’ve ever heard, and we’re curious for the chance to give this release a spin for ourselves. http://pocketnow.com/2014/06/19/jolla-launcher?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Link to signup - https://together.jolla.com/question/47655/jolla-launcher-community-alpha-testing-begins-next-week/

Android Lollypop lets hope they get a better name that that.. I think as usual Google is trolling everyone - last year they did incredible work on those well timed "leaks" of the Nexus 5 which created lots and lots of buzz without spending any money. Either N6 or Android Silver will come this year - they can't go without a phone now. Yeah...Samsung and Apple have released something related to Health so Google can't be left behind :cantstop:
