Magneto Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Viru's highest Test score - 319 Viru's highest ODI score - 219 Viru's highest T20 score - 119 Amazing co-incidence. Wonder why he always gets stuck at 19.
Magneto Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 if this is a curse thank god. I'd rather have it 401, 251, 151 :P
zen Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 the difference too is in the multiples of 100 if this is curse, then it is a good one

deathmonger Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Hope he makes 119 in a T20 International in the next T20 Cup we should win one of the next three world t20s if not more. sc conditions similar to ipl happening just after ipl. doesn't get better. also we have ravi ashwin great t20 bowler.

T20 Cup happening just after IPL is the major worry as that's the reason we sucked in 2009 and 2010 T20 Cups - half the squad was injured or burnt out. You can't compete in a world tourney with a team which has just come right after playing a 2 month long tourney. Unless they get a gap/rest of at least 3-4 weeks between before T20 Cup we are gonna crash early.
Jersey #10 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 the difference too is in the multiples of 100 if this is curse, then it is a good one duh...if all the scores end with 19, there is only one number ending with 19 in ever 100...no wonder you come up with stuff like rpt
yoda Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 interesting find, altho I wouldn't call it "stuck", more like "ending it".

deathmonger Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 sri lanka gonna win the next t20 world cup they are also good with mendis. if tracks are like in current bang pak series sl ind or pak will win.

Talent wise we have players to win the tourney but if we play the T20 cup right after a hectic 2 month IPL don't think the players can give off their best. It will be akin to a football team playing the world cup right after the premiership season got over, and that's the reason FIFA scheules world cup after a gap of couple of months after the domestic tourneys get over. In both 2009 and 2010 we had injuries to our main players in Zak and Sehwag, especially Sehwag and rest of the players were physically and mentally drained. If BCCI still hasn't learnt this lesson I don't know how it will. There needs to be a gap of at least 3-4 weeks between IPL and T20 cup else we will not even reach the semi stage.

(I hope I will not have to explain this)

Ultimate_Game Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 when is the world t20? Next year after IPL :--D Not sure what the exact dates are and I hope we get a gap of 3-4 weeks between the two tourneys but going by what I've seen of BCCI I doubt it :((
Ultimate_Game Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 ok checked. in sept. so no worries. Is there enough gap/rest period before the T20 Cup?
