carnish Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Next year after IPL :--D Not sure what the exact dates are and I hope we get a gap of 3-4 weeks between the two tourneys but going by what I've seen of BCCI I doubt it :(( Too big a gap... we have IPL ending on May 27 then India play a test series in Sri Lanka, and after that we have the T20 WC in sri lanka itself... hopefully we can do well
deathmonger Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Is there enough gap/rest period before the T20 Cup? test series in sl. don't know if there are odis and t20s too. bcci will put some in prolly. good for knowing conditions. whatever happens in t20 maiden series win in sl is on cards. :yay:
Sehwag1830 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 test series in sl. don't know if there are odis and t20s too. bcci will put some in prolly. good for knowing conditions. whatever happens in t20 maiden series win in sl is on cards. :yay: We have won in 1993.
Ultimate_Game Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 sri lanka gonna win the next t20 world cup They missed their chance when Murali was around. Now they only have Malinga and if he doesn't take wkts they are gone. But as usual can't say anything about T20 as any of the following teams - SL, Pak, SA, Aus, Ind - can win it. Leaving out WI, NZ, Eng, B'desh and Zim as they don't have enough talent to win in sub-continent.
deathmonger Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 huh? checked. oye balle balle. we have won everywhere pakis have won.
Magneto Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 Bangladesh is a deadly T-20 team. They were ranked 2nd once :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
carnish Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Bangladesh is a deadly T-20 team. They were ranked 2nd once :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: When did that happen???
Magneto Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 I guess during the first ever rankings. Before the first T20 World Cup was played.
carnish Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I guess during the first ever rankings. Before the first T20 World Cup was played. But as far as i remember T20 rankings were only introduced by ICC very recently http://www.rediff.com/cricket/slide-show/slide-show-1-icc-officially-launches-rankings-yuvraj-singh-mendes-sammy/20111024.htm
Magneto Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 errr ... you are right. Now I'll have to go figure where I saw that No.2 thing. :vroam:
fineleg Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Congrats Sehwag. We need a Jamaican tune of Why this KolaViru KolaViru-di?
Jersey #10 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 what I was trying to say was that the difference b/w the two formats that are closer to each other is exactly 100' date=' i.e. 219-119 and 319-219 .... if the scores were say 419, 219 and 119, then ..... (I hope I will not have to explain this) [/quote'] but they are not.... rpt:fishing:
Raghav_12 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 We have won in 1993. That was courtsey only test that we won outside India in whole 90's :(( (not counting ZIM)
the_indian_fan Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 hope this "curse" hits sehwag once again & his career ends with sehwag taking india to a win in the wc 2019 ;)
