Magneto Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Dravid, I guess. He's turning 39 in January, and I would like him to play one more year (just because of the kind of form he is in), and hang up his boots by the age of 40!
urbestfriend Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 They should retire same day , same test, whenever it happens!!
J P K Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 depends on aus tour i am sure sachin will not retire as of now it should laxman or dravid p.s would not be suprised if zak or dhoni retires if their fail this tour
Sachin=GOD Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 depends on aus tour i am sure sachin will not retire as of now it should laxman or dravid p.s would not be suprised if zak or dhoni retires if their fail this tour woh toh bechaara bachcha hai abhi Test cricket mein.
Sachin=GOD Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Dravid will retire first. Then VVS.......................and finally Goddy :sniffle:
J P K Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 woh toh bechaara bachcha hai abhi Test cricket mein. this tour will his biggest test if he fails i am sure he will be sacked from captaincy :((
master22 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 They will retire whenever they want to, they have earned it.
Magneto Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 this tour will his biggest test if he fails i am sure he will be sacked from captaincy :(( Dhoni will not be sacked from anywhere till the next T20 WC. And Dhoni still has 5-6 years of Test cricket in him, and he'll gradually be lethal for India with his experience.
Magneto Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 They will retire whenever they want to' date=' they have earned it.[/quote'] As much I would have love that to happen, the clocks are ticking and in a year, one out of the three will be out. And till now, we haven't even managed to replace Ganguly succesfully.
Sachin=GOD Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 this tour will his biggest test if he fails i am sure he will be sacked from captaincy :(( He won't.
master22 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 dhoni kohli sachin :) What is this supposed to mean?
ravishingravi Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Yeah Dravid should retire first. He is the best in form test batsman in this team. He should lead the way.
saneindian Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 VVS, given his bad back and recurring back spasms, would be the first one, maybe after the Aus tour itself. Dravid and Sachin are both fit and good to go for at least another 12-18 months.
master22 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 As much I would have love that to happen' date=' the clocks are ticking and in a year, one out of the three will be out. Magneto Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 So when we still have not found out a replacement for ganguly you want other seniors to retire? Succession plan has to be chalked out. There is no alternative. We still have one year to find two guys who can be regular No.3s and No.6s.
