you have picked up the right 7 guys but I would not be that excited by the averages (Flat pitches, poor attacks) and they may still struggle to fill the gap left by the legends. What would work in their favor is early exposure to top class competitions through IPL etc. so temperamentally they are quite good ( look at Kohli) My opinion is they will be world class in Limited overs cricket. where they need to prove themselves is in the Test matches

rahane,pujara will be there for sure mukund is another solid batsman these 3 def will perform in all conditions technically brilliant rohit sharma is the most talented of the lot and virat kohli might not look as good as sharma while playing but he gives results and has proved can play swing/seam australia would be his last test i guess

Pujara,Mukund will be good test-specialist while Rohit,Rahane & Kohli will play all 3 formats & Manoj,Pandey are good bets for ODI & T20.

For me, pujara and mukund would make it big in test matches......Rohit had serious attitude problems...now that it seems to be fixed, he can become one of the all time greats.....too early to say that but he has class and technique and penchant for big runs. His only problem was....he thinks himself bigger than game itself....

I was (am?) his big fan. But the way he batted in last ODI when the need of the hour was to take few chances and score quickly he was playing as if he was interested only in remaining not out and pushing up his series average. Is it only me?
