And news about Yadav touching 150.1 is true. This was later confirmed by Sky sports or Channel9 3-4 times when they showed his highest speed. On some cases, bowl was dying and was carrying on 1 bounce but there was no speed reduction by Umesh. In fact, this is the fastest I ve ever seen Umesh bowl. He was consistently over 145

Melbourne is slow pitch especially first day it has spongy bounce.. pitch will get bit quicker tomorrow

In his first spell Zaheer was bowling around 130-134. Then in 1 spell he was around 125 k as well. Then in 1 one when he took wickets he was around 135-139 with 139 his highest. I think it all depends on his rhythm.

i know that pattinson would be touted as 150+..but did not look achieving this speed at all..umesh yadav was looking very fast in his spell yesterday..especially the greeting which he gave to mr ponting..that was lethal delivery

He was bowling 130-133 in his 1st spell,then he dropped it to 125-128 but after tea he cranked it up to 135-138ks with the fastest being 139.6

ESS had the same problem during the World Cup and have been having similar issues during the Champions Trophy coverage. IIRC, had similar issues even during the England series and kept going back to the Sky feed. Speed guns apart, their coverage has been terrible. Too many ads, at times eating the first ball of the over and hardly any analysis from their commentators.
