Tiger80 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 :WTF: Star cricket not showing speed of bowlers ,where is the speed gun?
Pagalpanti Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 I think they thought BCCI opposed to all technologies.

carnish Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 I think they thought BCCI opposed to all technologies. :hehe:
express bowling Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Not showing speeds would definitely hurt TRP, with so many fans watching the bowling part mainly to watch speeds.
sumvell Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 I'm in australia now so watching the 1st test on 9. they definitely have speed guns. did star cricket get them, coz i'm returning to india before the 2nd match starts....
Viki_J Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 I think they thought BCCI opposed to all technologies. :hysterical: Speedbreaker

10DuLKaR Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Star cricket showed first over with Channel Nine feed, and I got all excited listening to Richie Benaud & company. They came back to Shastri & company from second over. :( And yeah Channel9 had bowling speeds shown.. :banghead:
panther Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 yadav bowled mostly 140 + same with sharma zak was bowling at 130
cricketman Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Good to hear that Umesh was clocking 140+. Based on what I was seeing he didn't look THAT quick... the carry to Dhoni was occasionally very slow. he did beat Ponting a bunch of times though, got him on the helmet once as well, so i'm not surprised.
ShebbySB Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Umesh's fastest was 150.1ks & he averaged around 144-145kph Ishant's fastest was 146.7 & he averaged around 141-142kph Zaheer's fastest was 139.6 & he averaged around 130-131kph
Needforspeed Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Umesh's fastest was 150.1ks & he averaged around 144-145kph Ishant's fastest was 146.7 & he averaged around 141-142kph Zaheer's fastest was 139.6 & he averaged around 130-131kph Can you pls inform if Zaheer was faster in his first spell or in his post-tea spell?
Hell Raiser Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 I want to see Umesh bowling at 150 k's. We want speed guns. :hitler::hitler::hitler:
chainsmoker1985 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 ****FOR EVERYONE**** Go to the link below. If you have unlimited net, you can watch the whole match and post match analysis of Australian coverage. They are showing speeds and with better technologies like Rotator as well. Even I was pissed off at star cricket. But, this link is quite useful and everyone is watching speeds here only. http://www.dailyfun4ucricket.info/2011/09/link-1.html
chainsmoker1985 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Can you pls inform if Zaheer was faster in his first spell or in his post-tea spell? In his first spell Zaheer was bowling around 130-134. Then in 1 spell he was around 125 k as well. Then in 1 one when he took wickets he was around 135-139 with 139 his highest. I think it all depends on his rhythm.
Cricket Tragic Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Not showing speeds would definitely hurt TRP' date=' with so many fans watching the bowling part mainly to watch speeds.[/quote'] Especially on ICF.
