Test series in Sri Lanka cancelled.Converted to 3 ODIS and 3 T20s

Well i remember lakhs of indian fans flocking Mumbai when our team returned after winning T20 world cup in 2007.But i dont exactly remember our test team getting similar adulation when they returned a month ago after winning the test series in England. I too love to us win tests but winning world cups far more important.

In June-July, the only places where a test series with Pak can be played are England/SL. Will the BCCI look at that option? Or would they rather schedule a tri series involving Ind, Pak, SL in SL helping Lanka generate much needed funds? Surely they will not let the team sit idle for 2-3 months post IPL which finishes on May 27. FTP also says a test series with NZ is planned for Aug-Sept 2012 in India. Not sure if that will go through either as our season normally starts only in Ocober every year.
