Manny_Pacquiao
LMAO, people still criticizing fletcher?? the guy has ZERO responsibility outside of arranging net practice. he has no say in selection, no say in team composition, no influence over anything. sure, if you gave him control over the team the way ingerlund have done with flower, then you would have an argument. thats not the case tho the seniors run this team, the selectors are subservient to the seniors and the coach just puts the cones out for net practice and helps them out with throw downs when the bowling machine isn't working. this is how indian cricket works Link to comment

Get rid of him and get someone else or play without a coach. The coach also needs to be responsible for failures too. Why is he getting paid if he is not accountable ? Its not about wins or losses too. The body language and the approach of this team during Kirsten's tenure and during this guy's tenure is chalk and cheese. They seem to have a very negative, defensive mindset nowadays. Link to comment

THAT is his job. firing him won't solve anything. kirsten was similar to fletcher, stayed behind the scenes and did nothing outside of practice sessions. india did well during his time because the team wasn't washed up and over the hill like it is now. u chxthiyas need to stop looking at the gora as the scapegoat, take a look at kaptaan kool, the selectors and all these washed up batsmen, they are the ones that need to go.
