Most of the times I have seen him pull , it was well controlled and more importantly he had eyes on the ball each time he connected. Not only here but in SCG too. Earlier it was his bat hanging outside off stump which was making him nick one , here he covered off stump well. Also his flicks were causing him trouble against inswingers . yep he was impressive.. much more imprsssive then our fab 4!
Manny_Pacquiao Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 this whole short ball thing is nonsense. kohli plays one of the best pull shots i have seen from any of the younger indian batsmen. he gets on top of it and has terrific power behind it. he looks awkward when he is leaving them, but thats because he doesnt want to risk hitting one to the fielder...he is still playing for his place in the side and doesnt bat as freely as he could
