Indians never claimed to be good at Football unlike England. In fact India isn't considered a sporting nation at all to be honest but that's gradually changing. England are supposed to be good at Football because they invented it but they clearly aren't, that's the point. England's soccer team is far more overrated than the Indian cricket team which has at least managed 2 world cups, a champions trophy and a world T20 though I admit Football is a much more competitive sport. Kabaddi for example is an Indian sport and look at how dominant India is in it, there are more nations that play Kabaddi than there are test playing nations in Cricket. How often do you see Indians making troll topics like this about their superiority in Kabaddi? The fact is India has achieved more than England have in Cricket overall despite the fact that it is England's game and therefore it makes no sense for you to make such threads, though it's very obvious that you're trolling.

I understand what you mean but still they have ONE Prime Minister and ONE embassy and for the most part, are considered ONE nation and the argument that they should be allowed separate teams simply because their people don't get along is silly.

The ICC considers the ODI World Cup to be THE most important event in Cricket and England are yet to win it even once. To claim Test Cricket is the best format is merely an opinion but even if we were to take that as fact, India have been the no.1 test team for 22 months whereas England have only been no.1 for 4 months so there you go, we own you in that as well. When England have held it for a longer time overall you can come back and tell me England are the better team in test Cricket.

Ashes is a useless bilateral series which involves one team thrashing another.

While we are on the subject, the biggest rivalry in cricket is definitely India-Pakistan. There is no doubt about that.

No the ICC does not consider the Ashes to be the most important event in Cricket, hardly anyone outside Australia and England even follows this series. Neither ODI's nor T20's originated in the subcontinent, in fact they were introduced in Australia and England respectively which further proves my point that Test Cricket is dying even in those two countries who claim to love it most. If rankings didn't exist at all how can you claim England were the best team? The only time England were any good in Tests was when England and Australia were the only teams that played the game, even then Australia was probably the better team overall. The West Indies totally dominated the latter 70's and 80's and since then it has been Australia all the way. South Africa have managed to compete with Australia on some occasions and India managed to become no.1 for almost 2 years. England have only been no.1 for 4 months. To claim a bilateral series between two countries is the pinnacle of Cricket as opposed to the World cup (which IS considered the most important event in any major sport) is an insult to the sport and indicates a lack of intelligence on your part to be honest.

When's the last time these two countries were no.1 and 2 in the world. Pakistan have never been the no.1 team. India's greatest ever team have shown their true colours in last two series against ashes giants.

No game in cricket generates as much hype or interest.

Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka all owned by England in the last two years. None of these countries will ever win a series in Australia. Stick to ODI's India. Leave the tests to the major cricket playing countries. An Australian was on a holiday in England. On an early morning stroll, he comes across an Englishman who is walking his dog. The Englishman says: " Spring in the air, eh" The Aussie goes: " Why should I, mait???? " Best two teams indeed. :P
