I have to beat a lot of stereotypes to make these dreams realities, but the alternative of not trying is too unacceptable! :hatsoff:
Raghav_12 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 good point... and is well supported by evidences from our olympic/asiad medal winners list, esp in females section.... sambhar has totally owned tandoori chicken. Well cooking of sambhar would take much less time and effort than cooking of tandoori chicken. So that difference explains things in this context :--D.
Vijay.Sharma Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 lol...Good one. Now dont turn your analytical gauge towards Eastern region please :cheer::cheer:Bihar ain't exactly East. Ad by the way, you racist tart, sambhar != South Indian. Sambhar = Tamilian :winky:
Vijay.Sharma Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Well cooking of sambhar would take much less time and effort than cooking of tandoori chicken. So that difference explains things in this context :--D.LOL! But have you considered the variety of stuff that goes into cooking of sambhar? And if yoi had to make all those spice powders from scratch then it actually would take longer than tandoori chicken
nikred Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Bihar ain't exactly East. Ad by the way' date=' you racist tart, sambhar != South Indian. Sambhar = Tamilian :winky:[/quote'] You forgot to mention, one more important equation that most Narthies are not aware of, South Indian != Tamilian. :winky:

Sambhar = Tamilian :winky:[/quote'] Turning into a Northie Vs Southie thread I see.:giggle: C'mon, Sambhar is not just Tamilian .In fact, it is not even a creation of Tamilians.
punjabi_khota Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 haan' date=' aur jaise tandoori chicken tou apna masala khaa/lapet kay aata hai?[/quote'] Making sambhar is definitely more complex task. Tandoori chicken to main bhi bana leta hoon :cantstop: Sambhar mein dhai sau tarah ki sabjiyaan dalti hain :hatsoff:
Lurker Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 You forgot to mention' date=' one more important equation that most Narthies are not aware of, South Indian != Tamilian. :winky:[/quote'] Lighten up dude, it was a fun banter nothing to do with South-North divide :protest:
Nova Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 C'mon' date=' Sambhar is not just Tamilian .In fact, it is not even a creation of Tamilians.[/quote'] This is quite true. Going off topic here, but still... Sambhar's origin is in amti (tuar dal soup) which comes from the Maratha kitchen and is named after Sambhaji.. hence the name sambhar. The great Marathas once ruled parts of south India and left their legacy not only on the cuisine, but also the architecture found there. Jai Maharashtra :isalute:
