Old guy Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Dunno about Chepauk' date=' but both Valsad and Chepauk have a fair covering of grass. Valsad was bouncy as well, with good swinging conditions. The problem with Kookaburras is once the ball loses its shine, there's hardly any swing anymore. The SG balls retain their swing for a longer time. Also, reverse swing in Kookaburra balls is an issue.[/quote'] but they need to cope with it.. its part of test :winky:
rkt.india Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 the ball just got high on him than he expected. He was having trouble with his finger nothing serious I guess hope he'll return. He was injured while fielding, while taking a catch.
The Dark Horse Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 ^oh, but he was constantly taking his left arm away while batting
rkt.india Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 ^oh' date=' but he was constantly taking his left arm away while batting[/quote'] that injury was hampering him.
Needforspeed Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Whats with East Zone. Wickets tumbling like crazy 303/8 now. No support for Majumdar.
Magneto Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Fecking Awana running through the side. :whack: @ Awana Majumdar should now play the game like a T20 match. He's good at hitting and all.
Needforspeed Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 This EZ tail is like the Indian tail...400 was there for the taking if only someone had stayed with Majumdar. Only Dinda left now..most probably another Duck.
Needforspeed Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Any idea how the Ferozshah Kotla pitch is playing? Is there anything for the pace bowlers?
Magneto Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Any idea how the Ferozshah Kotla pitch is playing? Is there anything for the pace bowlers? Has even grass cover with consistent bounce. Seamers will get some seam movement.
saneindian Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Pankaj has added a few yards to his pace. Bowling in the late 120s regularly and hitting 133-134 at times, bowling great lines and moving the ball appreciably.
Magneto Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Awana gets a 5-er. The East Zone tail is so feck-all. Majumdar needs to farm the strike and do some mad hitting.
Needforspeed Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Has even grass cover with consistent bounce. Seamers will get some seam movement. :two_thumbs_up: Good for East. Hope to see Nechim & Dinda make some impact.
