NeutralCat Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Well Shewag what can one say? Can't field and still can't bat even on a dead overseas pitch, the guy is fat and obvious he does not care, in fact I doubt any of them actually care. I mean when you are making millions playing the IPL why would you care about the country or the fans? After all they are always fresh and motivated to play in the IPL.
amiret Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 But I thought the IPL was so amazing' date=' I thought everything was ok because[b'] according to some on here it's all about the IPL and 20/20? :hmmm:
Sid Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Ypu cant win with trash openers in any form of cricket(especially true in loi cricket)' date='gg and viru are a disgrace right now.[/quote'] I agree, openers have been useless for far too long.Anyways Veeru has flattered to decieve in shorter formats throughout his career.Waiting for his T20 retirement as well.
Viki_J Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I dont think they will win a.single game against australia this tour. same here :nervous:
NeutralCat Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 more efforts need to be put ! Do you think they care? More effort? Don't worry you will see more effort in the IPL.
Karan114 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Ypu cant win with trash openers in any form of cricket(especially true in loi cricket)' date='gg and viru are a disgrace right now.[/quote'] Absolutely. Both of them have come up with the "we beat them at home" line which sums up their pathetic attitude and embarrassing performances in England and Australia. Mukund and Rahane deserve exposure to international cricket especially away from Asia - its not like they will do any worse than these two losers anyway.
Stuge Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 we are fools ,who are watching them and supporting like anything .Enough of this nonsense now .
chainsmoker1985 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Lessons to be Learnt-- 1. We need good opening partnership. 2. Ours spinners should perform better looking at Australian spinners. 3. Rohit Sharma shud not be there in T20 team. 4. Both PK and VK can't play side by side, We need strike bowlers like Umesh Yadav or Zaheer. 5. Middle order needs to show more responsibility.

Best lesson for us would be to STOP supporting them and I'm serious now .They have taken us for granted .
J P K Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 cannot believe it they played three spinners against us and still we failed to score big :((
saneindian Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 This team is mentally shot. They just don't know how to seize crucial moments.
biltz Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Big problem with india, they are being tagged as Home champions. India need to get rid of this tag as soon as possible by sorting out problems.
NeutralCat Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 This team is just crap, the worst team in cricket history, they get paid millions and still aren't any good or don't give a crap.
BeautifulGame Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 We have been rubbish in T20s ever since the 2007 world cup.why this sudden reactions? As long as we dont play enough International T20s we are going to struggle in t20s.heck we even lost to England at home.Cant get any worse. U would be really ignorant to take this as a guide to how we will perform in ODIs.At best these 2 T20s will serve as batting practise for youngsters before ODIs.We lost the T20 in last tour even more embarrissingly.Didnt stop us from winning the CB series.Did it? I dont why most want to confuse all 3 formats together. We are shite in tests , Shite in T20s for nearly 4 years and has always been outstanding in ODI cricket for 3-4 years. So we will definitely play better in ODIs than thes or these 2 T20 matches.
chainsmoker1985 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Actually we are forgetting one important point that most of the Australians are coming out of playing T20 in Big Bash League. And most of our players are getting accustomed to Australia and T20 cricket. I think we will perform better in next game if we don't do some silly mistakes
Number Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 We miss yuvi in this format the most. He is a game changer.
rajmarie Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Well, there aren't many jobs in the world that reward mediocrity like the IPL does - Saurabh Tiwary, Robin Uthappa, Yusuf Pathan and other such rubbish are multi millionaires. When you have third rate cricketers getting paid so much, its no surprise Indian cricket is going down the toilet Exactly...yet the BCCI insist that each team get XI....yea..a whole freaking XI overseas player...but can only select 4 in playing XI...allowing each franchise to pay millions for these 3rd grade IPL players. BCCI should let each team play upto 7 overseas players...that will automatically bring down the price for these crap players...forcing them to work hard...atleast to play & earn IPL money...rather then now when they just get it. Now I wonder why I was not born 10 years latter..I could have myself qualified for the IPL riches :hysterical:
