Not sure... they named a squad yesterday and I haven't really looked yet save to say it is has some new faces..... IMO Wade is better in all forms that haddin... his keeping is not great (he can stand to far back too often) and his batting is generally (save for a couple of innings) the exact opposite of what Australia needs from him... Wade is playing really wel in the domestic series' and paine if his injury every lets him get back to the top flight is the best of the three

Wade will be the keeper for T20s. The biggest surprise is Bradley Hogg's comeback. That will be great to see.

Fair to say that the biggest positives for Australia in this series - Michael Clarke's captaincy and his form with the bat and Nathan Lyon's bowling.

the biggest Negative for me was picking Loser Koomar as the fourth bowling option --- worst performance and quite embarrassing to watch someone bowl at 120 k consistently ...even Mr. Cricket was bowling faster

You're probably right if the reports are accurate... his injury is career ending and he is lucky to not have lost the digit.... If thats the case it would be a shame... I saw him a couple of times and he was the best keeper I had seen in a while (not keeper batsmen - true keeper) and I say that believe it or not without bias because he is an aussie

I knew nothing of VK before this series and then read the long, long list of those saying bring him in... He didn't impress too much in Perth and on that wicket and Perth if a seemer can't get bounce and speed, then the likelihood of doing it anywhere is remote

I don't know what BCCI was thinking...well it's explainable....MSD and Vinay share 'more' than just camaraderie

This series will usher in the dawn of a new era in Indian cricket (hopefully). Because of this series : 1. The big 3 will realise its time to retire and that will help Indian cricket to rebuild. 2. The selectors may realise that Sehwag's career as a Test batsman is over and hopefully play some youngster a chance. 3. Vinay Kumar's Test career is over. Now hopefully ODI series will take care of his ODI career too ending. 4. Kohli has found his place in test squad. Hopefully, now we have replacement for Ganguly. 5. Rookies like Ahwin and Yadav have gained experience which will stand them in good stead for the future. 6. The opportunities presented will motivate the upcoming youngsters in the domestic cricket as they now realise that for the first time in 15 years, there are vacancies in the Indian middle order.

That's bcoz he is Mr. Cricket. You cannot compare any random Kumar Biimaar to Mr Cricket :winky:
