Lurker Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Its just the sheer number of Indian cricket fans that makes it look that way.As for Pakistan cricketers talking about India ' date='[b'] I cannot see any of our ex-cricketers making the same kind of comments. But what can we say about a country that shows Basit Ali on National TV after the WC or those comments by Tanvir? Frankly that has never been India's problem, and I am proud of that. Our cricketers have ALWAYS been better behaved than Pakistan. Whether it was Javed Miandad and his road-chaap gaalis, or Taufeeq Omar with his maa-behan in WC, or even the retarded legend Imran Khan who would say India were scared to play Pakistan, our Sachins, Kapils, Dravids, Amarnaths, Kumbles have always been lot better behaved. To the point that the good behavior was equated as being somehow less aggressive. The same can not be said about the Indian fans though. Maybe I am being a bit harsh but somehow it seemed recent successes of India, on field and outside, simply allowed many of us to sport pent-up frustration at others, specifically Pakistan. Well the world comes full circle now. Ab marao maje se xxx
Number Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Its mutual. Even Indian fans enjoy bashing. But nothing can beat when we defeat them in WCs or major tourneys . Hilarious conspiracy theories start coming after that.

saneindian Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Two test series defeats wont make our team bad let PAK travel to SA AUS. No other team would lose as badly as we have. Didn't they win a test in Eng with no Younis and Misbah and before that came close to winning a test in Sydney and drew vs the Aussies in England?

As I said,we have the largest cricket fan base and hence it seems that way. Your analogy is akin to calling Indians smart just because they have the maximum number of software programmers.
Tiger80 Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 An eye opener for Indian Fans who say Pakistan is their second team Enemy tho Enemy hamesha hota hai i would never support their team. Pakistan can win test series but India kicked them out of semi final thats is price less nothing can beat that. +1 Don't know why so many ICFers were supporting Pak

As I said' date=we have the largest cricket fan base and hence it seems that way. Your analogy is akin to calling Indians smart just because they have the maximum number of software programmers. Actually I would say cricketers are perhaps smart and fans stupid. Well certainly quite often. Lets use IPL as an example. When it started it was something many Indians rallied behind. For what? Dont know. But the fact remains it became a patriotic vehicle for most Indian fans. India has arrived. World cricket balance shifts to subcontinent. Anybody who is critical just hates us yada yada. For some reasons Indian fans were stupid enough to beleive BCCI was doing it for them lol. And when IPL would kick Pakistanis in the nuts our patriotic sentiment would go further high. Lalit Modi Zindabad. Phir bamboo laga. India started to lose test cricket. Oops blame IPL. Players getting injured oops blame IPL. BCCI making money hand over fist and doing nothing to even make life half decent for spectators. Oops blame the haramkhors. Players didnt give two hoots one way or the other. while me and you were busy kicking each other in the nuts they were making millions, buying Pajeors and dating starlets. And now each one of them is claiming they arent embarassed, no decisions on retirements, we are still world champs and fans should support them. Really? #$%^&*& Analogy with software programmers doesnt hold. Atleats the software programmers worked their asses off to give India the brand value in IT that it has today. xxx
Karan114 Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 The BCCI and Indian cricket are the laughing stock of the world and rightly so. Its not just Pakistanis who are laughing at us (of course they will), other fans and media are just as delighted - just look at some of the Aussie media coverage about our embarrassment of a team. Given the way the BCCI has bullied everyone around over the last few years, who can blame them for taking pleasure in our minnow like performances on the field? The BCCI boasts about how much money they have yet on the thing that really counts, on field performance, we are absolute jokes.

Aisa kuch nahin tha ke hum-aap apne baap-dada log se jyaada smart hain. Magar that being said, opportunity is one thing, taking advantage of that is another. Indian cricket team had the opportunity, lekin kiya kya? Look at Ashwin and Sehwag and yuvraj etc. International cricketer and tond like Harish Patel. Saala I am in 10 times better shape than them and I am as remote from being a sportsman as Pamela Anderson is to being a virgin. xxx

ali0786 Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 +1 Don't know why so many ICFers were supporting Pak It was a win-win situation for most of them. If Eng win they can bash Pak, if Pak win they can bash Eng because of what Eng did to you. And also you know maybe not everyone is full of hatred like some of you? give that a thought.
