It was a win-win situation for most of them. If Eng win they can bash Pak, if Pak win they can bash Eng because of what Eng did to you. And also you know maybe not everyone is full of hatred like some of you? give that a thought.

Cannot begrudge them their moment of schadenfreude. But what's the verdict on this Paki unit? To me their spin department has that 90s Indian look to it. Pace bowlers are reliable without being spectacular. Gul averages about 33 and I don't see him bettering that figure over the rest of his career. Verdict on hold on Junaid, he's young but certainly no Amir in terms of iinitial impressions. But that doesn't mean much. Batting doesn't convince me in the slightest. They collapse less often but there's no imposing feel about them even on flat tracks. A lot of us have doubted Kohli but from the little I've seen of Asad and Azhar, neither of them compare to him.
At the moment, they have enough spinning firepower to whitewash the Pommies on turning tracks. Their pacers are okay, not world beaters by any stretch of imagination. Hafeez, Younis and Misbah will have to do bulk of the scoring, and the other spots might be a bit of a musical chair for a while. I really liked Zulqarnain Haider as a keeper, but apparently the Khatmal family have chased him out of the country. So, a honest and a hardworking group, but will still need to find 5-6 replacements to create a world-beating unit. Will lose all overseas tours, but will not get whitewashed.

No other team would lose as badly as we have. Didn't they win a test in Eng with no Younis and Misbah and before that came close to winning a test in Sydney and drew vs the Aussies in England?
So what we won series in England in 2007 Drew with Aus in Aus in 2004 u forgot how they had last three consecutive test series whitewashes in Aus .

:omg: are u kiddiing me even while supporting them u were showing enough hatred :giggle:
Do not confuse banter with hatred :winky: Don't have enough time to hate and monger hate pointlessly. But I do think that the Paki supporters are the laziest in the world. :P

If Umar Khatmal plays, it will no longer remain an 'honest' side. He is talented, though. Misbah and Ajmal got their breaks at 30+ and are making most of it. If form and fitness are there, age is not that big a factor. Look at Leander. Winning grand slams at 38+ in tennis.

Mashallah what a great day in Pak, the cricket team is only 2 positions behind in tests and 3 positions in odi rankings. Congratulations on the achievement :two_thumbs_up:

Good to see normalcy returning at ICF. I was under the impression this was a different site yesterday. lol
The article's about normalcy in Pak i.e. India bashing :orderorder:
There is a lesson here for our cricketing chewtiya maharathis but also the fans...humility never hurts. xxx
Couldn't agree more, although lets assume hypothetically that the arrogant fans (including your's truly) weren't as arrogant in the recent past. Would that bring humility to the other country in question ?

Wow...im actually supporting them against England due to the arrogance of the English players like Bresnen Nasser etc. Just goes to show you the inferiority complex of the Pakistanis they are so fixated on India.

The same can not be said about the Indian fans though. Maybe I am being a bit harsh but somehow it seemed recent successes of India, on field and outside, simply allowed many of us to sport pent-up frustration at others, specifically Pakistan. Well the world comes full circle now.
Agree
The BCCI and Indian cricket are the laughing stock of the world and rightly so. Its not just Pakistanis who are laughing at us (of course they will)' date= other fans and media are just as delighted -.

Would that bring humility to the other country in question ?[/quote'] Not to the loonies on the other side, but the genuine cricket lovers. Yes. They arent different than those on our side. A good example would be today's article by Ian Chappell in Cricinfo about the most dominant batsman. He considers SRT, Lara and Ponting. Now for the loony brigade on our side just listing Ponting in that list is blasphemy, which obviously would pi$s off the rational Aussie and many other supporters. Then of course Ian makes the ultimate blunder and picks Lara ahead of them all. I am sure half of fans have already dismissed him as a hater who has had a bone to pick ever since Greg Chappell was kicked out ungloriously. Never mind the fact that Lara was very much as good as Sachin and if someone thinks him better there are ample reason. xxx
