And now the world thinks these uneducated, uncivilized filth actually had the bloody intelligence and knowledge to build such great structures. We are still taught that the Qutub Minar, the Red Fort, the Taj Mahal were built by Islamic Sultanate and Mughal bastards when all they did was looted them from Rajput kings and gave back some land somewhere in return. Are Indian citizens so useless that they can't take the true History of the land? Why does the kangress sarkar not change the books? Why does the kangress sarkar order ASI to create such huge no entry zones in the Taj Mahal? Why are they so scared of the truth coming out? 100 years from now do we want the then Indians to continue to believe the crap propagated in our history books as truth. Most Islamic rulers had a courtesan write their biography as they lived. These were generally named as -o-nama. The word o-nama = biography of. They actually mention with pride how the ruler imposed jizya on the kaafirs, how they looted their temples, subdued the farmers, seized or destroyed their buildings offices fortifications, etc.

They just got divided up and dare I say, civilised. For example the Mughals are descendants of Mongols. Many of the empires we know by different names are actually just later mongol empires. A key point that many history text books forget to make.

All these cities and countries derive their water from wells or tanks, in which it is collected during the rainy season. In Hindustān, the populousness and decay, or total destruction of villages, nay of cities, is almost instantaneous. Large cities that have been inhabited for a series of years (if, on an alarm, the inhabitants take to flight), in a single day, or a day and a half, are so completely abandoned, that you can scarcely discover a trace or mark of population.* And if, on the other hand, they intend to settle on any particular spot, as they do not need to run water-courses, or to build flood-mounds, their crops being produced without irrigation,* and the population of Hin*dustān being unlimited, inhabitants swarm in every direc*tion. Indian civilization was at its lowest ebb when the Mughals first came in. North India had been pillaged and looted by the Delhi Sultanate rulers from the 9th century up until the 16th century.All universities and social structures had been demolished by then leaving India tottering.

TBH, South India would have been no different had Aurangzeb come down south.
