Desi Cartman Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 He admitted and was sentenced, once he has served his time then he should be allowed to do whatever he wants. If one gets booked for drunk driving which is more dangerous than match fixing, the person is allowed to drive again, isnt he ?

daryl1985 Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Let's not go there. Your big three, barring one, have been guilty as well. On topic, I said it before in another thread. He has been punished quite severely for an 18/19 year old kid. He is reaping what he sowed. Jail sentence in a foreign country and a 5 year ban from Cricket. Unlike Asif, if Aamer shows remorse, he has every right to make a comeback. Based on performance of course. Explain. On the topic. Yes he should be allowed because he was very young and it is possible to make big mistakes at his age. However, i think he should serve the duration of his ban 1st in order to send out a strong message to anyone who thinks of cheating in the future.
Desi Cartman Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 not if he is a pilot of plane .. xD If the rules state that then definitely not, my point is either ask for rules to be changed or let him do what he is free to do after serving his time :protest:
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Personally yes, he didnt try to hide what he did and cricket in general would benefit from him, plus you know he wont do this again! Ponting and co cheated in 2008 along with Bucknor and Benson, did we ban them?
King Tendulkar Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I would accept it after a further 2 years.

Old guy Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Personally yes, he didnt try to hide what he did and is a talent cricket in general would benefit from plus you know he wont do this again! Ponting and co cheated in 2008 along with Bucknor and Benson, did we ban them? what when ? it wasnt proved or anything..so its diff matter all together

NeutralCat Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 No the guys is a cheat simple as that, betrayed the country as well ,no way he should play any form of cricket.
MCcricket Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 This is a cardinal sin , I am not sure how u can redeem urself from something like that.It is sick to hear about fixing, it is same as what a conman does and rips people of their money and faith.IT IS TOO EARLY TO COMEBACK, LET HIM LAY WAITING FOR 2 YEARS ATLEAST, HE DOESN'T EVEN SEEM LIKE HE IS REPENTING.Many more people have been involved in fixing, from our cricket legends to all teams , especially in mid 80's to 2000.
Pakistan Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Yes after his 5 Year Ban for corruption by ICC is served. Hopefully, he will complete his education during the ban.
Magneto Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Yes after his 5 Year Ban for corruption by ICC is served. Hopefully' date=' he will complete his education during the ban.[/quote'] Will he cheat in his exams? :giggle:
Old guy Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Will he cheat in his exams? :giggle: :nervous: is cheating in exams= fixing will i be but in jail?
Zelch Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 No... Any professional cricketer if caught doing something like this should never be allowed to enter a cricket match under ICC and its affiliates. Things like he was young, he was talented are irrelevant and will only compromise the integrity of a cricket match if he plays again. There were several cricketers in 90's in India who were dirt poor and never cheated when Azhar and Jadeja were betraying their country. And its useless to engage Paki fans in a debate about this (except UTalk), they have a very suspect moral compass. Pakis are fixing matches since god knows when. They let off all their Wasims, Waqars using the same logic that they were talunted resulting in Amir, Butt, Asif fixing case. Pakis will start fixing again when things cool down. Until then we must atleast punish those that were caught. If Amir wants to play cricket then he can play in one of those local matches between Altaf Bhai bradford wale vs Khurram khan londonwale in karachi or somewhere.
