Sid Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Media speculations about divided camps have started :fishing:
Stuge Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 No .. he asked team management to drop him for the sake of his reputation.
saneindian Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Given his fitness, he shouldn't be picked at all. And Ashwin as well. If you can't take care of your fitness, you don't deserve to play at the top level.
Magneto Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 India TV says that Sehwag's astrologer asked him not to play.
Dravid_TheWall Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 No. I think it is a new system, getting ready for next world cup. Anyway we were a batsmen short and should have played 4 bowlers only with one being a spinner. Ashwin should be dropped, hasn't been bowling well and obviously his fielding is not all that..
Texy Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Srinivasan & Cheeka will show :finger: to anyone who talks about dropping almighty Ashwin
achilles Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Srinivasan & Cheeka will show :finger: to anyone who talks about dropping almighty Ashwin :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Brb, calling Thiru Yodha :D
J P K Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 gfK--I3j254&feature=player_embedded dhoni: guys like me and sehwag do the thinking aspect ; :hmmm: who is our vice captain ?
Iconoclast Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 No way man .. he just needed some rest after all those mammoth innings he has been playing recently :P
achilles Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Oh great. Virat was Vice-Captain today? It means the Team Management is looking at grooming Virat. Good job. One of the few things we've done right Down Under.
J P K Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Oh great. Virat was Vice-Captain today? It means the Team Management is looking at grooming Virat. Good job. One of the few things we've done right Down Under. he meant vinay kumar :giggle:
Magneto Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Oh great. Virat was Vice-Captain today? It means the Team Management is looking at grooming Virat. Good job. One of the few things we've done right Down Under. Vinay Kumar can bowl, field and bat Virat Kohli can bat, field and bowl (as much as Vinay Kumar can bat), but he has bad conduct - DISQUALIFIED
achilles Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Vinay Kumar can bowl, field and bat Virat Kohli can bat, field and bowl (as much as Vinay Kumar can bat), but he has bad conduct - DISQUALIFIED He's won us a world cup and countless games with this conduct.
J P K Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said Virender Sehwag was `rested' to give Rohit Sharma an opportunity in the first ODI of the triangular series here on Sunday. Dhoni explained, “If you want to make Rohit (Sharma) play, then an experienced player can come and go out of the side. But it may be hard for Rohit to come in later if he does not get going before the later stages of the tournament. You could find him playing in tougher second half without much practice. It’s a long series and we want to win it.” Left-arm paceman Zaheer Khan, he revealed, had a minor fitness concern. “Zaheer has a niggle in the knee, but he should be fit for the later games,” he said. http://www.thehindu.com/sport/cricket/article2863191.ece
Number Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Good Decision by MSD. Dropped Sehwag for Rohit.
devla Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 So Sehwag hasn't done anything of note on the entire tour. If Rohit doesn't get going in the next 2 games, which of the two will play?
