thing is bowlers did well 3 times but batsman never performed.. bowlers were inconsistent while batsmen were just pathetic consistently..
Nobody is telling that batsmen were not pathetic. But bowlers were not better either. Looking at recent tests, including australia 250-300 seems to be decent scores. So if bowlers are allowing those many, you can't say they did their job. Similarly we can't say batsmen did their job by scoring some 200 runs. In last defeats of Australia, they lost even after bowling opposition out 98 and some 150+. I won't say Bowler did their job in Melbourne as theu conceded more than 325 in first innings, which definitely a big score, looking at recent trends on scoring in test cricket.

Look at his fitness. Spending more time in the ICU than playing matches. These injury-prone bowlers are horrible for longterm planning. You plan things around them and suddenly when the crunch time comes they have bandages all over.
these injuries happen.. stress fractures hopefully htis is his last cos after fracture it gets stronger.. all pakistani gr8 bowlers had them.. this guy who bowled for sri lanka today forgot his name even he had it..more then once well dinda is bowling 30-40 overs consistently i want him in team now.. i think he improved a lot.. otherwise u cant get 8 wicket haul. that too match turning one..

haha.. plz man in australia every ground is diff 300 is very good in perth and maybe even melobourne but in adelaide, sydney (where even dhoni looked good) 400 is normal.. teams consistently get 500!

In Sydney and Adelaide our bowlers allowed more than 600+ in single chance they got to bowl. I don't see any single innings where our bowlers get Aussies out way below par score. We seem to be arguing without a reason. Both batsmen and bowlers were pathetic. End of story.

nope batsmen were more pathetic then bowlers. and yes 600 in both tests was bad but batting .. how many times did they crossed 300 ? or had a wicket less session ? atleast bowlers had there time .. and bowled out australia check out last ashes scores england scored more then 500 atleast 3 times more then 600 2 times.

How many times our bowlers bowled them out of less than 250? Other teams were doing that pretty regularly. They were bowling Australia out in double digits. Quantification of patheticity is difficult job. Batsmen are being blamed more because batting was suposed to be our strong suit. Otherwise both were equally pathetic.

ofc bowling was bad.. but lets say in perth we did bowl them out at what england did.. even in melobournce performance was respectable.. our batting not for ocne in last 8 away matches did well while yadav did bowl well in perth ishant was the dissapointing factor if he could ve gotten atleast 2-3 wckets we could ve bowled them out for 150 like other teams wont u agree? whati m saying is yadav, zaheer did tried there best but was batting remotely close to par? no in adelaide they hadn o excuse it was perfect batting track kohli at end was charging down the track and hitting harris over covers.. we are badi n all aspects thats why we lost 4-0 im not saying our bowling is good but ask any one..our batting sucked more.. i watched all matches u dont need to see score card the way in which gambhir, sehwag, dravid, laxman got out every time had nothing to with conditions lol gambhir kept poking.. sehwag got out on full tosses or playing so wide.. dravid now cant play normal straight yorkers ..laxman less said the better.!

lol.. by the time our batsmen get a chance we were already playing for a draw. it's always difficult to bat after having 600 runs on the board. Indian bowlers were as much behind aussie bowlers as much our batsmen to their batsmen, even may be more. But yeah, we had an experienced line up in batting, so they should be given more blame.

(i know it wasnt gr8 but it was respectable enough! ) our batting struggled each and every time! in mebourne dravid dropped the catch really easy one.. dont forget that im not syaing bowling is any good but boy our batting made it look good :winky: sorry bro but we were strugling to score even 200... no defence.. atleast our bowlers bowled them out few times ..

I think a critical point of the debate should be 'What should be the minimum acceptable average speed of a trundler'?
130 or less. 135K or above is decent pace with movement like Styen bowls in tests.

thats fine...but when They bowled out for 99 they made sure England didnt ran away with advantage... thats what counts there..just imagine what if England made 300 in that innings
England were not playing in England. If the same Paki had played England in England they would have been kicked.
