Maninder Singh raised his name in a cricket discussion about last June and said that he is one of the fastest bowlers in the country and was as quick as Aaron. His name was mentioned in 2-3 other occasions as well, once by the Mumbai Indians bowling coach, to be quick and upcoming talent(even when MI have so many great names and new names as well, their coach talked abt him out of nowhere). Now, we r following his performances. And frankly there is nothing much to be expected off him as he is just playing his 1st domestic season. And coming out of injury as well

Rahul Shukla did well today after first two new ball seamers were thrashed by Orissa batsmen, he gave 2 breakthroughs in quick time. 28/2 till now in 6 overs. http://www.bcci.tv/bcci/bccitv/community/domesticresult/livescorecard/406
To be honest, Orissa is one of the weakest domestic teams in India. Though, Jharkhand is also not a great team, but I hope that he performs similarly against some more stronger team.

Knockout matches start from 5th March. Hopefully guys like Rohit Sharma' date=' Gambhir, Kohli, Rahul Sharma, Vinay Kumar are all asked to play in the remaining matches before the Asia Cup.[/quote'] I dont think players like Gambhir ,Kohli etc should play any of these matches .They just came back after 3 months of nonstop cricket . Come on guys cricketers are also human beings.

Whether or not they should play. Eventually they r not going 2 play in these domestic matches. So, no point worrying about that
