Clarke Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Don't we miss Yuvi already, having him in the middle order allowed Raina/Dhoni at #7. Those suggesting Jaddu for middle order, how about his awesome running between the wickets ?
Ultimate_Game Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 This cricinfo article by Siddharth Monga says the same. Here's an excerpt from the article... Dhoni wasn't going to have it easy, though. Raina, who had played his best innings of the tour, premeditated a charge and a bunt for a single into the leg side, and was bowled, leaving India 31 to get off 23 balls. Ravindra Jadeja's limitation as a No. 7 batsman soon made itself apparent. There is much to like about Jadeja, but he cannot hit the ball out of the ground. A No. 7 has to do that. India now needed 13 off eight, but Dhoni was on strike. Link... http://www.espncricinfo.com/commonwealth-bank-series-2012/content/current/story/553054.html
Ultimate_Game Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 When will team figure it out that Jaddu is not no. 7 material???
Ultimate_Game Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 Irfan should bat at no. 7 Yup and if Yuvi is back we wouldn't need Jaddu anymore
