Utalk Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 zahoor rana, bottle cap, sharjah, minnows(nowadays), enough said :--D You mention Sharjah but forgot about India. Record reads 80% win ratio in India until 2006. Must have bought the opposition players or the umpires who happened to be Indians eh?

You have a head start. :acute:
amiret Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 wth Pakistan is ahead they have always been ahead. Even since 2000 ( the period we got better as an ODI team) we are 5th in terms of win/loss ratio.
Utalk Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Utalk, quit making excuses. :P You guys started playing ODIs in 1973. We started in 1974. You have a head start. :acute: But you had a 20 years head start in test cricket so you should be way in front. I though you would catch up after a good decade but looking at last 12 months good natured Indians are trying to balance things out nicely. Keep it going I say.
Mariyam Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 If you say so sabby :winky: I'm very bad with numbers so this maybe a foolish question. This table looks wrong. Total up the number of wins and no. of losses. They must be equal. If a team has won, another would have lost. In this chart total no. of wins is 1356. Total no. of losses is 840. How can this be?Many wins were against minnows? Something is amiss.

Mariyam Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Is this your desi blond moment? :(( Edit: I still don't get it. Why are # wins not equal to # losses?

The Dark Horse Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Is this going to be another klpd like the 100th hundred
ganeshran Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Hope it doesn't become like Sachin's 100th 100 and you end up wishing you had never opened this thread :cantstop: :giggle:
singhprakash72 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Lets host a 7 match series against Afghanistan (I was thinking Bang but that might be risky) ...recall Dravid and VVS in ODI so that not only India but its old stalwarts can attain any other cherished wishes they may still have left.

Madame, I give you an example, check out India's figures- Total matches- 373 Wins- 201 Losses- 152 Tied- 3 No Result- 17 So, Total is 373. It's similar with the all the teams and all the figures shown.
