eh.. well every ground in aistralia is diff check bowler's length in perth.. (since its very famous) it will def be fuller.. or on a helpful track but full does not mean yorker full just pitching it up a bit and letting it swing. can u show us zaheer's pitch map ? :winky:
khan at perth took 2 for 44. both wickets at around 8 meter. khanperth.jpg

wht im saying is we are not discussing abt results.. clearly vinay is bowling fuller..so is zaheer.. in australia as compared to India// now weather those full ball go for 4.. is another discussion :P

its not just abt wickets.. he did ball fuller.. imo
but fuller did not yield wickets...Yadav's problem has been that he bowls a bit middle and leg a lot of times trying to get bowleds and LBWs. His lengtg is not a problem for me...line is..look at Yadav's pitch map, he has bowled more fuller deliveries than VInay and Zak.

true and in tests i think it might work not middle but trying to swing from off n odis its easier for batsmen and discussion we were having was do bowlers ball fuller in australian conditions umm well they do

lol u sure about that? okay then lets look at subcontinent bowling length. here is vinay kumar bowling to england in delhi india. took 4 for 30. here is vinay kumar against srilanka in adeleide australia. took 3 for 46. both place he bowled around 8 meters and took wickets. i didnt see change in length. all that crappy link you posted they are talking about length in test matches. length in test matches is different to ODI , you dont have feilding restrictions "powerplays" like ODI in test, you have many slips in test match even after the 10th over, red ball swings more and swing for longer duration. you can afford getting hit for few boundaries cause run targets are bigger. i know the importance of pitching it up, but that seems to be only thing you know.
Now, those links are crappy :hysterical: I'd always believe renowned cricketers like Sachin, Broad or Ryan Harris more than believing you. And I have nothing else to prove. And, the pitch map that you have shown of Vinay kumar, that one match is not a yard-stick. You also have to look at the mode of dismissals or poor-shots by the batsmen as well. Many-a-times you get wickets off full-tosses but that doesn't become a yard-stick. About your last point, I know many many things apart from pitching it up. Wanna go on a debate on some other topic, I am always open :hatsoff:

True.. Thats I think they need to realize here, that Vinay Kumar is actually a very experienced bowler(whether or not he should be in the team thats a diff issue), but he has lots of experience and he knows what works for him and he do adjust to those lengths accordingly. Now, we here are talking about a guy Yadav who is struggling a bit, so what advise would you give him basically. Obviously, you'd tell him to try and pitch the ball up coz thats where you can trouble the batsmen more. Actually, in ODIs, where ball doesn't move that much and game is aggressive, bowlers tends to go defensive quite early and start bowling short of a length which batsman can easily defend or tuck it around the corner for one or two.

see bro.. vinay with old ball would ve gone for 100 + i can assure u that :P see today lee and co were also expensive its normal in odis.. with experience he will get better important thing is he has wicket taking ability and has already shown his skills on htis very same tour and he can get inform batsmen out when they are on song very rare for us so he is nto a lsoer can we close this thread now
