rkt.india Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 back in the mid 90s sachin scored 180 runs in 15 overs in a two wicket tournament at Erode lol. It was tiny tiny ground. the match in which Laxmi Shukla scored 151 was played at Eden Gardens. Though Eden too is not a big ground.
DhoniAdorer Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Today player like venugopal rao' date='asnodkar, pradeep who scores runs at slow rate are making quick hundreds...jakati 45 runs in 16 balls ..what happened to pitches in india....laxmiratna shukla scores 152 runs in 96 balls out of first 200 runs..hahaha....no wonder sehwag and sachin scored double hundred at indore...BCCI needs to do something for that else more whitewashes coming up and india will never win world cup outside india...[/quote'] okay.. tell me what's wrong with the flat pitches? I always see people speak ill of flat pitches and claim that was the reason for the overseas defeat ..on and on.. If you are technically good, you should be good everywhere. It reminds me of what Rumsfield said 'You go to war with the army you have---not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time'... Get over it, pal :)

I have no problem with spinning wickets but flat wickets hurt us than anyone else.
Crookbond Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Anantpur Cricket Ground is shaping up quite well to be India's Perth.
