Khalpat Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 After looking at some of the incidents in WB since Mamta Banerjee has come to power, one thing came to my mind power and that is Absolute Power.There is something terribly wrong with this word. No one should have this in any country or place or team or society or even family. There should be something to balance. Coming to politics, except BJP and Communist Party, look at every party: Congress : Gandhi Family RJD: Lalu BSP: Mayawati SP: Mulayam DMK: Karunanidhi Shivsena: Thakrey Family Trinamool: Mamta and so on and on These parties are into existence due to single family or person. Now if we vote for these parties any how we are giving absolute power to a single person or single family, dont you guys think this is wrong and unaccepted thing in a democracy. Whom would you give preference to ideology (BJP and Communist) based parties and politics or person based.

You didnt get it Kabira, my point was can you think about Trinamool without Mamta, its a no so people who are voting for Trinamool are voting for one person not the party. It means we r giving power and more power to individuals or their families, my question is that is this kind of politics correct for healthy democracy. Vote for Mamta as a MP if you like her but vote for another person of your constituency because you like Mamta is something which I find dangerous. The same applies to all parties except BJP and Communist.

You need to see the leader, if you like him, vote for him..
ravishingravi Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 I'd much rather go for a party like BJP simply because it has internal democracy. This. relatively speaking. I just saw a Kangressi yesterday saying that he finds SP's feudal structure rather uncomfortable to work with. Hard to digest.
