"Rajeev Gandhi foundation found Gujarat to be the best administered state and India today has twice declared you the best CM' date=' [i']and yet despite that people to your face still call you a mass-murderer." LoL He was entitled to end the interview at that very moment if you ask me.
That is not a violation of any journalistic norm. Thapar is not accusing Modi of being a mass murderer, but stating an easily verifiable fact.

Why aren't there charges against Nitish' date=' Naveen, and Shivraj? As I said in the other thread Raja Bhaiyya was doing exactly the same thing when he was a BJP minister, and getting away with it because he has huge clout in his kshetra.[/quote'] That's the official justification from secular INC/UPA ? Yes ofcourse, 66 years after independence and here we are, a first world developed nation. The educated class is of course not understanding the prosperity that Congress has ushered all these decades and they must go ask the illiterate beggars on the road to understand what makes Congress a better party to win so many elections. Its one thing for non-Congressis to debate PM candidates and other for Congressis to throw red herrings. The ideology you bring forth in discussions is the latter. Same lie for the second straight time ? The issue was denials and victim mentality, not open support for terror. You are indeed a lying Congressi. I get it, Nehru chacha did no wrong and 1962 was neither a defeat, nor a loss of territory. The other guy talking about selling a bridge should have reached out to you. BJP lost the elections in 2004. INC allows beheadings in 2013 and you're still supporting that behavior. Stop living in a time warp. Its part of the pathetic & unpragmatic vote bank politics. If it comes to attacking Modi, you'll make many more excuses like the above. Having dealt with your secular behavior and the lies to cover it like the one mentioned here, I wonder what you say is true or made up for convenience. I'll tell you this for sure, you're far more Congressi than any Modi supporter here is a fan of fascism.

I don't know - I am neither a member or supporter of INC/UPA.

Without coming out as a Congressi, I would state that Nehru's emphasis on education and research started by establishing IITs and other such institutes is what differentiates India from it's neighbors.
Its one thing for non-Congressis to debate PM candidates and other for Congressis to throw red herrings. The ideology you bring forth in discussions is the latter.
Please explain in more detail when someone says his first preference for the next government would be a Sushma Swaraj led NDA, how is it a red herring in the context of the next elections?
Same lie for the second straight time ? The issue was denials and victim mentality, not open support for terror. You are indeed a lying Congressi.
Not a lie. Search your posts, you can verify it.
I get it, Nehru chacha did no wrong and 1962 was neither a defeat, nor a loss of territory. The other guy talking about selling a bridge should have reached out to you.
Haha! Resorting to rhetoric again when confronted with facts, are we?

I am not supporting the behaedings - let's be clear on that for starters. I have my opinion of dealing with a neighboring rabid dog and I have stated it. Yeah, it does not encompass the use of explicit force because the rabid dog indeed carries rabies and I don't want to be bitten by it even after I have got all the inoculations.
Its part of the pathetic & unpragmatic vote bank politics.
Let's not talk emotions - talk facts. How is the food security bill not affordable? Though I would prefer you reply to this in another thread where we were already discussing this.
If it comes to attacking Modi, you'll make many more excuses like the above.
And when it comes to defending Modi you will defend even lying scumbag foreigners. See where this line of argument takes us?
Having dealt with your secular behavior and the lies to cover it like the one mentioned here, I wonder what you say is true or made up for convenience. I'll tell you this for sure, you're far more Congressi than any Modi supporter is a fan of fascism.
The first bold part is entirely your prerogative. I differ on the second bold part - when was the last time a Modi supporter had a good laugh on his stupidities on this forum, like on his definition of Hindu Nationalism or his behavior in the Thapar interview? I can show you multiple posts of mine ridiculing and criticizing the Congress, maybe numbering in the hundreds, can you show me 30 of yours ridiculing Modi accounting for the fact that you have about a third of my post count?

What part was false? Modi even accepted that few persons call him a mass murderer on his face.
2 or 3 individuals dont mean 'people'. Tu itna badiya administrator hai, tujhe itne awards/recognition mile hain, lekin abhi bhi log tere muh pe tujhe mass murderer kehte hain.:cantstop:

You mean say - in the whole world 2 or 3 people call Modi a "mass murderer". Please categorically state in your next post what part you feel is false and why.

Sonia Gandhi for starters' date=' with the Maut Ka Saudagar comment.[/quote'] Aaj tak regret kar rahi hai. But for that comment, Modi's political career could very well have ended in 2007. As he was considerably weak at that time and fairly isolated as well. That one comment in the campaign changed it for him. Modi should send Javed Akhtar thank you cards every month for having coined that term.

I am not justifying her comments, but stating facts that "people called Modi a mass murderer to his face". Even though I consider Modi to be a mass murderer I would not be stupid enough to call him such in an election campaign.

Ram jethmalani called rahul gandhi many things. I would love for thapar to tell rahul that 'people call you to your face' in his interview. :cantstop:
You are getting desperate at this point in your quest to prove that Thapar violated a journalistic norm. Much better would be to share a hearty laugh on Modi's chewtiyapa.

Naah he did abuse the norms, not violate. I have tried to explain. Honestly dint laugh , but I can see people finding it funny even though modi's behaviour was gentlemanly.

We are not arguing about opinions here, but facts which should be readily justifiable from international codes of conduct of journalists. Which norm did Karan Thapar abuse, by stating facts in an interview?

He abused the norms, to me modi's decision to end the interview was justified and his behavior was gracious.

Interview main yeh Muh pe kon bolta hai? I gave you an example of rahul gandhi and ram jethmalani's comments on him, many many people share the same view. You expect rahul to sit through such an interview? Thapar to rahul - people say they won't hire you as their peon.:cantstop:

Dude, munh par bolna does not mean that you tell him that he is a Maut Ka Saudagar over a one to one dinner. Munh par bolna means that you express it in a forum easily accessible to the other person. Even though we have never met each other, if I call you an idiot on ICF, it's munh par bolna
