11 th consecutive series loss

If SL loses tomorrow , this will be their 11 th consecutive series( test and odi) loss. Is this a record by any established team or has any team done worse in last 35 years or so ?

Lankans won one or two tight games in the CB series that could have gone either ways. If not for that umpiring error in that tied game, they may not have made it to the finals. I think competing well with Australia in Australia has given these guys an excuse to big up themselves. In general, SL has improved as a team under Jayawardane, but the overall results outside the subcontinent is still the same (the odd wins not withstanding!). However i expect England to have a hard time against this Lankan team. Either ways, that series will put one of these teams in their due place.
