What we have is a situation where 90% of non indians admit how selfish of a player he is and 70% of indians saying how UNself of a player he is. Wake up people.

Look i love Tendulkar when he plays for the team. I.e. 2003 WC - greatest innings I ever saw him play. Also the 175 in Hyderabad not his fault Jadeja threw his wicket etc. What we have here is a guy who put his 100 above the team cost them the match and decided he was more important than the humiliation of losing to Bangladesh. Was he the only reason for the loss? OF COURSE NOT! But he is a massive reason for this failure and so so many others do to his greed and ego. My point is still in 2012 the typical Indian mentality in say any sport...eg Football. India will lose a football match 3 - 2 to Bangladesh and lets say that Baichung Bhutia scored the fastest 2 goals ever but fouls two Bangladeshi players that lead to two goals guess what all Indians will talk about? Well obviously all that matters is that Bhutia scored the fastest two goals ever....who cares that he conceded two penalties...oh whats that India lost a match to Bangladesh who cares? There is a way to may 100 runs in a match. Getting a maiden in your 80s when your team is 1 down is not one of them. :hatsoff:

But, he did seem like a chamcha of Guru Greg when Guru Greg took over and started his nonsense.

P.S. The Indian culture and its relation to records/milestones is such media trash. The non-subcontinental teams and players jump around about their statistics and records all the time. But this media hogwash would lead some innocents to believe that the concepts of records and glory are exclusive to the Indian subcontinent only.
