jairamesh Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Jadeja vs Yusuf Pathan, this is the eternal debate. Seriously both have identical records but Yusuf is far far far superior than Jadeja on these flat pitches. Yusuf Pathan should be automatic selectin on these flat, slow tracks. Jadeja seems to have secured his position based on one average series in England (which India lost!) and that triple hundred in Ranji. Yusuf for one bad series in West Indies (which India won!, and no batsmen really did anything) has been overlooked on most occasions. Hell, Yusuf has a hundred in South Africa vs South Africa against the likes Steyn, Morkel, and no. 1 ODI bowler Tsotsobe., Yusuf has two hundreds! and career strike rate above 113!. Jadeja's strike rate keeping in at numebr 7 is a poor 78!
Zelch Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 why would they want to come to india ? bowlers graveyard.. and bad facilities :p language problems :headshake: Money... For those who are thinking the idea of importing will shame billion strong India, the day is not far when other teams including BangBros will beg us to do whatever to put a decent bowling attack on the field. Ours are so embarrassing.

Whether or not, others perform, but definitely Jadeja don't deserve another chance at all for next 2 years. He has already got way more than deserving chances, now he has to go

GautiMaan Posted March 18, 2012 Author Posted March 18, 2012 Do we really need seven batsmen? What value does a rohit sharma add if he comes to bat at the 45th over that too, when we have dhoni and irfan.Better to play rahul sharma in place of rohit.

Last time Broad bowled well. He has the best chance to succeed in India coz of his seam movement.

vvvslaxman Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 well even australia.. back then played attacking cricket.. and didn't cut down pace and backed there strength Apart from chepauk and couple of other pitches Indian pitches are not toal graveyards. Mohal pitch, Bangalore pitch, Eden Gardens pitch can provides assistance to seamers. Mumbai mostly spinners. Delhi is usually a flat track.. nowadays it is far too slow.
