this chucker way is not right.. we all call ajmal chucker.. and think its wrong then why even think abt having such bowler ? i know our bowling is bad but that does not mean we need to allow chucking to be good we had some talent.. diff is instead of developing it we destroyed them ok at start of there respective careers ishant and morkel..were very close.. ishant actually was lil better then him imho but now morkel is one of the most feared bowlers.. (had a lil off season but still pretty respectable and ended very well ) and ishant is just unlucky there is some problem in mindset of these guys ..come on how is it possible for all of these guys to just lose way all of sudden ? i mean not even one of them came good even zack was on his way out but a county stint saved him but he still never ovr came his bad habits .. like lack of fitness :wall: its just so frustrating to see so many potentially good bowlers turing into tundlers even rp singh was such a good bowler once upon a time! :((

Ishant has 4 years on Morkel so still has time but we are in danger of losing another good prospect. To a certain extent, Morkel is an unlucky bowler in the same way Ishant is (better version obviously). He often seems to bowl good spells where he beats the bat and looks good but probably does not get as many wickets as he deserves.

To get edges you need to pitch the ball up as the deviation from wkt should get an edge. But both Morkel and Ishant hit back of length and are a bit short IMO which result in lots of plays & miss as deviation of the pitch generally beats batsman's edge. Ishant has to do what Ambrose did in Aus in 93 when he was beating the batsmen but not getting wkts. Over the last 2 Tests of the series he pitched the ball couple of yards up and won both the remaining tests of the series. Someone has to work with Ishant to work on his line & length. Umesh's natural length is good but his line is not consistent enough. He is generally all over the place and tries to do much. I think they have great potentioal but time is running out for Ishant.

He often seems to bowl good spells where he beats the bat and looks good but probably does not get as many wickets as he deserves.[/quote'] ya but still even when he does not takes wickets he looks dangerous ishant gives away runs.. yes morkel was out of rhythm..but still bowled some gr8 spells in between unlike ishant who bowls one good spell per series and abt 4 years..he hasnt learned anything really in last 3-4 years i dont have much hopes in that department he is jsut brain dead i guess

:facepalm: It hasn't changed much tbh. After a series win it'll be swept under carpet though. Something is horribly wrong with the field placings or as usual our bowlers just can't stick to a plan.
