Ok, have now started to doubt the team. We retained 5 players but all of them have been a disappointment. Samson and Binny have done nothing, although Samson is for the future. Whereas Rahane, Watson, Faulkner have been far too inconsistent. Today's game, MI was for the taking, they had very poor bowling and yet RR messed up despite having a formidable batting line-up (till number 10). And now we have 2 hard games, both away against Punjab and MI, the chances for Top 4 are looking difficult. Starting with both Watson and Binny, the batsman need to come to form. Next, RR needs to be smart, but not oversmart. Today, too many changes and that cost them ultimately.

It was a mix of sheer arrogance and complacency from Watson and the management. You don't rest your in-form players at such crucial period in the tournament. Its a hard task to get to the top 2, but once you do, it's gold dust. And what's with RR against MI and CSK? 2 most annoying teams in IPL and they seem to show no fight to either of these 2.

Rajasthan tactics have been really odd the past few matches Say what you may but Rahane holds the RR batting together. He maybe on the slow side but when you have so many stroke players thats what you need.

So today, the sad season of RR will end. Have been very lucky in its victories and extremely poor in its losses. Watson and Binny has been the biggest culprit this season, both have been disaster in their batting. Binny has really been the worst player this season among all teams, have played all 13 matches, have done nothing both with the bat and ball.

Gotta march on from here. 'If' we do qualify' date=' I don't expect us to win the title but knocking CSK out in the first round would be gold![/quote'] You should qualify if they keep it simple and dont try to be oversmart.Recent RR losses have all been due to their own mess ups

So the struggle official ends. MI deserved it and certainly, RR deserved no bit to be in the playoffs. My worry has come at the end, a team led by Watson isn't disciplined nor smart on the field. I wrote my earlier post to "jinx" MI but it all failed. MI deserved it and so all credit to them....

its not just this game RR tactics for the past 4-5 games were odd. Really odd. Questions need to be raised of Dravid and Watson to be honest.... Watson himself was the reason rr lost today. James Faulkner as well. Good grief, juicy full toss on leg stump. Anybody would have put away that

Faulkner is becoming the Australian "Irfan Pathan". A liability with the ball but can play well as a hardhitting batsman. While Watson has been poor much like the last 1 year. Clueless in the batting and pathetic as a motivator or leader. RR needs a new captain, that's the number 1 thing.
