Puppies shown their rightful places. Moral of the story - Dont mess with the champions. :nono:
Hey cut them some slack, they are playing with a one handicap(because of their old aged skipper). If the one handicap were to be applied to cricket as in golf CSK would have lost today.

Pune warriors batting is very iffy. Nobody looks in any kind of consistent form. You need atleast 2 good inform players in each department.
Smith is batting too down in the order. Dada should be a non-playing cappo or come in after Samuels & Smithy.

Uthhppa has potential only for a cameo' date=' at the most 25 ball 40[/quote'] +1 Lets see.. Ryder is flaky, Dada (no comment), Uthappa good for a cameo at best, Samuels takes too long to get set, Steve is good for a cameo , Manish -Now hes a person who can keep the innings together Angelo is good but neds to come up the order Thats just one batsman out of 7..not good enough Bating order needs to be Ryder Samuels Manish Angelo Steve Smith Uthappa Ganguly Manish , Angelo and Smith can take quick singles and keep the strike rotating in the middle overs.Dada is a bonus ..If he plays well and good else we are losing anyways.

'Sourav really motivated to contribute' http://india.nydailynews.com/article/92db694271e07180c81498882caea4c6/sourav-really-motivated-to-contribute
Chennai, April 21 -- In Thursday's game between the Chennai Super Kings and the Pune Warriors India, Sourav Ganguly showed glimpses of his elegant best. The three boundaries in an over of Doug Bollinger were the highlight of his 24-run knock. But, just when his return to form was looking imminent, Ganguly did not reach to the pitch of a Shadab Jakati delivery and provided Nuwan Kulasekara with an easy catch at long on. On the eve of the match as well, Ganguly was the first PWI player to hit the nets in an optional practice session. Though he was struggling with his timing even against the net bowlers, his determination to succeed was top notch. The PWI bowling coach, Allan Donald, who had credited Ganguly's leadership for the team's early success, believes that it is the player's motivation that will help him answer his critics. "He is really motivated to contribute. He showed the motivation again today. I think he is just a knock away from showing what a world-class player he is," Donald said.
