CG Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 This is Lol Thread. Its the indian cricketers who were saying dekh lenge india mein. Its them who need a mental checkup.
The Outsider Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Irrespective of player performance - do you think it is appropriate for fans to even do that? To do what?
Crookbond Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 To do what? To want players to fail and India lost the match.
Magneto Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 This series may end up producing our finest result in some time against a top team. 1-3 is surely better than losing 0-3 to Australia and again 0-3 to South Africa.

The Outsider Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 To want players to fail and India lost the match. If someone believes that a win will only paper the cracks for now, only to be exposed more brutally later whereas a loss will drive people into serious introspection and long term changes I don't see anything wrong with that.
Eternal Atma Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Thoughts on dhoni promoting himself? People on here are saying he shouldn't be in the team and I love how he promoted himself instead :winky: Thoughts? I initially had mixed feelings as Jaddu has been batting well domestically and maybe he could have had a higher score batting at 6. Even if we have doubts of Jadeja's technique, he has strong domestic numbers and should have been given a go at 6 maybe. But when Dhoni promoted himself in the wc, we saw what he did. I know this is a different format but when he takes responsibility he often delivers. Even CSK have seen this. Dhoni, good luck and it takes a real captain to lead from the front :hatsoff:
King Khan Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Change the title of this thread to be 'Dhoni has mentally disintegrated India' Fact: England is a much better test team than India at this moment regardless of how we do in this game :nice: As long as team's mental integration in question, I would talk on it after two important ODI series coming, when Dhoni wont be sacked.
Lurker Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 My thoughts are you should take sabbatical for eternity.

I see some doing otherwise.
Number Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Even CSK have seen this. :hysterical: You are class. Ek line me message de diya.
amiret Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 What happened to all those ICFs who said, 7) The new selectors are better, we lost our previous matches due to poor selection. 8) Ashwin & Ojha are the best spinners combination in the world 9) We will trash every team at home 10) England cannot play spin while we can play it excellently Really it's about time, there is a reality check here + for players. It's a more fundamental problem where it is not about leadership change only. Metamorphosis from ugly cocooned caterpillars they transformed into enlightened butterflies.
superstar Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Captains innings coming up. The wall of India for this match :D
jairamesh Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Like I mentioned in another thread. Dhoni didn't promote himself, he came in as a nightwatchman.
Eternal Atma Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Like I mentioned in another thread. Dhoni didn't promote himself, he came in as a nightwatchman. See, someone else said this to me. I disagree completely. If they were trying to "protect" Jaddu, Ishant would have gone. Dhoni feels he is more up to the task as it's Jaddu's first test and batting late in the day may have been too much pressure.
Eternal Atma Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Captains innings coming up. The wall of India for this match :D I hope he twirls his bat or uppercuts himself
Old guy Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Like I mentioned in another thread. Dhoni didn't promote himself, he came in as a nightwatchman. :hysterical::hysterical
indiefan Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 After last match, there were suggestions that Aswin should come ahead of Dhoni. Whenever such things are raised, Dhoni wants to prove himself. :--D
Eternal Atma Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 :hysterical: You are class. Ek line me message de diya. No I am not. I am highlighting he can take responsibility when needed. It's a mental thing too, regardless of format. He can handle a pressure situation such as in the wc final. I wish him luck tomorrow :cheer:
