Darren Bravo should be well disappointed in not having notched up a hundred this series. Hundreds against Australia are special and he should have done more. Very disappointing series for one that is seen as the next batting great from the caribbean.

He is nowhere near kohli, infact, he is onlythe improved version of saurabh tiwary, not to mention a superb fielder. Shaun marsh wudve been a better comparision. At this moment of time Id rate both darren bravo and kohli to the same level. Both have done pretty well but needs to move on. Kohli's stats are way better but we must keep in mind that e play ALONGSIDE world class batsman, batsman who are their to guide him. Darren Bravo is more like a lone ranger, he has no-one really to support him. Its a great advantage to bat alongside GG, sehwag, tendu, dhoni rather than ordinary batsman like Fudadin, charles(??), and guys like pollard and russel are not genuine batsmen

But he is not the type of batsman who can play a sensible knock of say 60-70 to get his team home. Kohli has dont that countless times. And just because smith did well in IPL against ordinary bowlers doesnt mean that he is even near kohli

He was the ultimate accumulator[/quote'] totally agree he was the ultimate finisher i dont think his strike rate would be too high.. he was jsut expert in finishing games and if tht meant score quickly he will score quickly no slogging at all

He still has a long way to go. This comparsion is on Tests. And he faced the 'so called' quality fast bowlers in Test series to score a ton where everyone else were looking fragile. Talking about quality fast bowlers...he has faced better bowlers in the Natwest series where he scored a 50 and a ton and more against them back home. @topic.... Bravo's scored his tons against our spineless bowling attack and bangbros. He might be a great player to watch but he looked below par against Aussies @ home and in the recent England series. Whereas Kohli looks much suited as a Test cricketer since the Windies tour.
