I hope this becomes the next "Sachin vs Lara" Current stats suggest Bravo is ahead by miles but I think its just a matter of time before Kohli catches up. Thoughts? (Oh and I mean just tests)

Virat has improved his temperament in last one year. The century and the knock in perth showed the improvement in his game. Bravo on the other end is still a man who is someone who has cemented his place in middle order of test side already. Kohi had a fantastic finish to a tough aussie tour. Even if we don't count the odi knock of Kohli in Aus tour, he finished the test series on a high. A tough place for world class bats to bat. Not great bat does well in Aus. Kohli has shown some class and I think will eventually be the best bat in coming days. Still a work in progress, but that century and knock in Perth has done world of good to Kohli and India. Darren Bravo, is a great future for Windies. And I would love to see him achieve similar heights as Kohli. No comparison yet.

Kohli didn't start well but his knocks in Perth and Adelaide proved he can change his game. Anyway these two along with Williamson are prolly the best young bats in the world today.

Guys the comparision threads still running..plz stop this..ruins the forum
As long as the comparisons are between comparable players it's all good. Now when someone compares Kohli to Umar Akmal then that ruins the forum. :haha:

Kohli has looked suspect against good quality fast bowling. Even in CB series, he scored most of his runs against SL trundlers. He did well in 2 ODIs in SA, but he still has lot to prove against genuine quality fast bowlers.

He played in Australia on their pitches. He did not score many runs against them in CB series, all runs were against SL.

In that CB series, he was troubled more by the likes of Watson and Mckay than those who bowled at 140+. On the topic, as of now Bravo has the edge over Virat in tests. But Virat is back on track as a test batsman now and will soon move ahead of Bravo. In the next 10 home tests, I would be disappointed if Virat doesn't score 4-5 100s and around 800-900 runs overall.
