Problems with Dinda presently are: a) The only delivery he has which can be somewhat effective is the short ball/bouncer but he is over-reliant on it, and does not execute it well half the time b) Has lost his pace - he could bowl at 139/140 at an average, but now he's at 132/133. His slowers used to be useful, now there isn't much difference c) Has forgotten his yorkers d) Hardly swings the ball. On a flat/slow wicket, he'll hardly be of much use.

Yeah needs to be (kicked) back to India. Just jumps and bowls short. needs to think first. Unless he shows that he can resist bowling it shot uselessly he isnt an option. Balaji is much better and its not about 2004, he was in good form this year in IPL and wasnt that bad in the few games he has played recently.

Bhajji is surely more talented than balaji but leading up to being dropped, Bhajji was equally expensive and non-threatening.... So if Dhoni has a fetish for playing balaji to have 3 seamers then bhajji will not make it. Ideally, we should have dinda and balaji replaced by ashwin and zak; and sehwag in place of chawla

he can bowl yorkers as well.but doesnt have match awareness.needs to be guided

still bigger difference than Balaji.with Balaji its sometime in the negative.

no he hasnt.I remember he got Mathews with a yorker outside off in that one-off T20 in Lanka

we need a death bowler desperately n hes best bet after Zak.Bala is useless in death overs.can only bowl in new ball/middle overs but that wont happen with Zak/spinners

Pathan is a better back foot player than a front foot one. Often he hits short of good length balls over MW or point. But against balls pitched up,his legs don't move and he is a bit of a sitting duck.

Fixing this match is risky, Pakistan maybe bundled out :giggle: I don't really understand this; if the whole of Pakistan know that the Akmals are fixers, why keep them in the team. Not that they are great cricketers or anything of that sort. :dontknow:

Bala got thrashed by Pakis n NZ,got some cheap wickets against Afghans n SL in warmups.what r u saying he isnt bad?

On a serious note Bangladesh has to accept they are limited in resources. The only way they can increase the chance of beating bigger teams more often is with sound strategy. It is not that hard to go in with a strategy against a brainless batting side like Pakistan. Their left arm spinners should stop darting the ball on to pads looking to contain. They must give flight and slow up the pace and put some fielders 3/4 way from boundaries. With a bit of clever field placement you can work out pretty much every batsman in their line up. This constant yelling' date=' chirping is not going to make you better.[/quote'] Dada, me to on a serious note wants to tell you that we, Bangladeshis, really do wanna improve. We don't wanna be stuck at where we are at right now! Our nation is a very different nation from any other nation. our nation wont give up no matter what. If sissyness was in our blood, then we wouldn't win the war in 1971. If our team gives their 100%, then we'll take anyone down any day! no problem! but the problem is there that we cant give our 100% all the time! we either give 100% or 0%. I wished my Bangladesh team was in a position where India, Australia or south Africa is at, but unfortunately we aren't there yet! but i can assure you that we're gonna get there! someday but dont really know when.If only our players and also the BCB can pony up!
