Just see batsmen facing Steyn, Morkel, Finn on a helpful track when they get movement. Srilankan batsmen were pissing on the pitch against SA on a bouncy helpful track against Steyn and Morkel.
Executioner Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 and i agree what i am saying is that T20 is more competitive because a "player like bhajji" can change the game...makes it much harder for the opposition.. and all the skills that you learned in tests and odi's you have to apply them in a shorter duration which is a challenge in its self... and bhajji will most likely never score a 50 or a 30 in a T20...he might score a 10 or 15 here and there..but in T20 10 or 15 runs can make a huge difference..so it makes the game extremely competitive its not about "easy" or "hard" ... its about competition and with that comes the required skills...why is dravid an extremely good test player but never got the chance to play in T20's? because he failed to transfer his skills....kohli is able to transfer his skills in the reduced format all the reasons why he is the best out there swing bowling is good in tests and ODI's....In T20's you need swing plus 10 other variations to limit the rate to run a ball T20 is the best display of skills bottom line: tests are the building block of skills...and T20 are the best display of them i agree to you to a certain extent but T20 doesnt make the players more competitive. What you talk about unexpected competition is nothing but the luck factor. You said that bhajji can score something like 15-20, thats because he can slog a few and the ball somehow evades the fielders. However, his luck will run out once.

Srilankan batsmen were pissing on the pitch against SA on a bouncy helpful track against Steyn and Morkel.[/quote'] natural swing meaning most of the balls are swinging in one direction..what morkel and steyn did was also bowl those cutters...slower balls...all the while bowling those swinging deliveries at pace with bounce....confusing the **** out of the batsmen...natural outswinger is lethal in odi's because the batsmen poke around...in t20's they play it with the face of the bat..no time to poke around unless if you are hafeez lol

They should start a WST20(Wooden spoon t20) for all the last ranked teams like PWI. It will be a great troll-fest!

If it is a fresh wicket, need 3 pacers and Balaji is better than Dinda if it comes to helpful tracks because he can move the ball. If it is a dry track then they can look to play 3 spinners. Spinners are our best bet, IMHO in these conditions. Even RP would have been better than these guys here after what he had done in IPL.
