:yay: and Selectors :wall: I thought you don't watch IPL :hmmm: Another one Jakati add Iqbal Abudallah, excellent fielder too.
Nadeem still has miles to go :giggle:

First Semi - Pakistan! SL has never beaten Pak in world cup matches. Its 7-0 or something. Just like Pakistan has never beaten India (8-0) Second Semi - Australia! West indies doesnt look solid bowling wise. Pakistan vs Australia - Australia.

Chuck or not they are with legal limits of acceptable by the ICC rules and that's THAT. 3 seamers + 1 spinner + gazillion part time spinners of course you will not play another spinner which makes you lose that variety.
why is 2+2 not good.variety ka kya karenge?u want ur 5 best bowlers under the circumstances

I do watch a fair bit of IPL jai but I do not really follow it to tip/toe because the incessant loud tones to it are particularly nauseatic to me. Jakati well NO not really - not if you want those fast spinners. He bowls from 80-90 kmph. I think Nadeem is the only Raza/Hafeez type bowlers we have. Raina may come into picture as well - more so if he starts turning. With Raina the problem is that the ball goes straight through 5 times out of 6 and then there's very less turn. If you ask me though, the best way to bowl those fast off spinners for right hand bowlers is to emulate Saqlain Mushtaq's action (recollect he bowler fair bit of yorkers and bowled in the death too). Shoaib Malik, Hafeez and Ajmal's actions are all modelled around Saqlain's template. It makes it easy for the shoulder to come through and give that extra 10 kmph which are becoming crucial. Off topic - Panesar bowls fast left arm spin as well.

Same circular discussion. Circumstance requires fast spinner. Do we have one? NO Can we bring variety? YES Not that difficult if you think of it. In your mind, you have resigned to the fact that Harbhajan Singh for sure will be better than Balaji which is not true "give the circumstances" (as you say). You might as well go for variety as in T20 , variety helps. This discussion just reminds me of 2011 ODI WC where Dhoni did not play Ashwin and everyone was clamoring for his inclusion. A captain's instinct and gut feeling after all - you and me can only watch.

I'll go with the dark-horse West Indies over Sri Lanka (captained by Malinga) in the finals
Hello dumbledores, please post a complete prediction. Post both Finalist & Winner.

Marlon Samuels is the best! 130 kmph with a yorker every second ball :cantstop:
