:hysterical:Indians talking about other teams' lack of quality in bowling....:hysterical: Joke of the century,bro...:haha::haha:
Well we don't have the Malinga's or Mendis' but we sure do know how to bowl out lankans in t20. last 2 t20's vs ind your team couldn't even bat out 20 overs :finger:

OK lets put it this way' date=' you SOMEHOW need to qualify :--D[/quote'] Dont blame you guys for fluking it, T20 in general is one format which caters fluke, one such instance was guls inning, Luck plays an important factor, jamshed being dropped on nought, fluke 2, ,india lost the most important toss off the tournament against chokeas, Fluke 3, hmm?

^ next time if any player played an inng like Gul, we'd withdraw from victory, on a drop catch batsman will walk off :winky: & 3rd 'fluke' u mentioned, I can laugh only for now...

We have hardly played tests in 2012. After the Australian disaster, there were ODI series and a rest period till the Kiwi series at home. As far as ODI goes, we gave chance to lot of youngsters in 2011, so the number of new berths available in the ODI team is lesser

It says a lot about our selectors' date=' keep selecting the same team for all formats, same old tried trusted failures on the fringes, captain will not play anyone outside his circle and wrong players selected to play wrong formats , how many things can Indian Cricket do wrong.[/quote'] Agree. Ian Chappell on the Cricinfo pod was saying the same thing - that the last set of Ind selectors has been very poor, no forward planning, unable to make any hard decisions and picking the same old again and again. Hopefully the new selection panel has more of a vision and is not stuck in the past.

I think no matter if it was India or Pak not able to qualify, no question left for them to "take it or not" and justification for crying over it when qualification rules are declared before start and are same for every team. If 3 teams ends-up with same points, 2 with better NRR were to qualify, as simple as that. Even going with your or most of indians logic "since Ind beat Pak so Ind as a better team should have qualified ahead of Pak" makes Absolutly No Sense because if India won vs Pak, Pak won vs AUS, NOW? How can Pak then accept AUS going into semis when they won convincingly against them. and by the way even if head-to-head results were given preference ahead of NRR, still AUS/Pak were qualifying bcz 3 teams AUS/Pak/Ind were at same points and still NRR had to come into play.

OK lets put it this way' date=' you SOMEHOW need to qualify :--D[/quote'] Don't you know the great Indian team would also have qualified. It's just the stupid ICC rules which are holding the team back, the damn format of the tournament. If the format of the tournament was to let the bottom dwellers play in the knock outs India would have qualified.

Head to Head India would have gone ahead of Pak because we beat you run rate you went through so dont cry your team lost four semi finals in a row since 2009.

also like many form our side call it "revenge time", most from your side were happy on victory against Pak alone and were calling it "The Real Victory". So u take "The Real Victory" and we take a place into Semis :)

Taya! If 3 ends-up with same points AND all with 1 victory each among them e.g India beating Pak, Pak beating Aus, Aus beating Ind, tell me the procedure of qualifying purely on head-to-head basis?
