CT, Can you post a link to this scorecard? Great batting performance of course. Cant see many known players behind Glenn Turner, aside from Vanburn Holder and Basil Oliviera. Who is Lloyd bowling? Clive or David?? Cant remember if Clive played for Glamorgan or Hampshire (Any roberts played for Hampshire surely)

Clive played for Lancs and Roberts played for Hampshire. They had a pretty awesome team. Greenidge and Barry Richards opening the batting. :--D Another name you might know is Alan Wilkins.

Yeah I did think I was missing Lancashire there. Roberts surely for Hampshire, cant miss that, Botham got his nose broken by him in his early years. With Greenidge and Richards yes thats a starcast right there. Alan Wilkins. Decent player. Also forgot Norman Gifford in there, decent player and the oldest player ever to make debut in LOI at one time, even skippered England in some games at Sharjah. Many of these counties used to be fantastic teams back then. Somerset had Botham-Richards-Garner at one time and still didnt dominate. Imran used to open with Garth Li Roux. All things considered that would make for the best International opening attack right now me thinks.

I wish we could see more of Garth Le Roux in the international scene. In 15 rebel Tests matches he took 59 wickets at 23.06. Anyways, he was ignominiously sentenced to 4 years of prison in 2008 for tax fraud only for a HC to overturn it in 2010. It seems it cost him 6Million Rand in legal fees. :omg: http://www.sport24.co.za/Cricket/Garth-le-Roux-vindicated-20100923

http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63588.html Similar one.. if not exactly one. India 2nd innings. another one this is ODI http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/64313.html Had the opportunity to watch both live. Second one is the closest you could think of 175 not out from him.
Both gems of course. The SA series was the one where Alan Donald had muttered mid-series that Indian batsmen were scared off fast bowling and were backing off...when Kapil unveiled his shots with an injured hand. Too bad we still lost heavily :((

I believe that is a record for a completed innings, but there have been a couple of occasions when the team has declared 8-9 wickets down with higher percentage of runs.

What about the cases - 4-5 runs to win in 4th innings, and one batsman gets it all :winky:
