Can somebody explain to me how England are dependent on conditions? Unless suddenly Sri Lanka and UAE have suddenly become greentops. And can somebody also please explain how South Africa are "all conditions" given one has never played there and the other averages in the 40's there. Can somebody also explain how they have the best overall attack given their best spinner is shambolic.
Did you actually watch any of the games or did you just check the scores? Comparing the series vs SA and the one vs Eng is ridiculous.

....No, I was referring to Morne Morkel's average in the SC actually. Fact is, Steyn aside, who is also effective in the SC: Morkel - Averages 40 in the SC Phillander - Never played there De Lange - Never played there Tahir - Embarrasing statistics to say the least. How is that a good "All round attack for all conditions"

And yet they didn't loose their last 3 series in SC. Same can't be said about England.

They didn't exactly win either. Which shows that their bowling attack didn't perform. That just defeated your own point, as 0-0 clearly shows that the bowling attack wasn't doing well.
They won in Pakistan in 2007.

Australia's will be the best by some margin in 5 years. I do rate South Africa's and England's pace attack though. England probably has the best since they have Swann. Not sold on Tahir. In saying that, you'd take RSA's pacemen over England's, so it's really a horses for courses matter. Pakistan aren't bad either, but will struggle away from home on greentops.

Aus will struggle in SC, what happened in the World Cup? What happened when we whitewashed you? In 5 years India will be the best. As our GDP grows so will Cricket team. Haters gonna hate
What happened in the WC? We lost a one day match. Correction, Shaun Tait lost a one day match. We'll be fine in tests given the quality of the bowling we'll be facing. Pfft GDP yadda yadda, I assume that means you can keep on churning out stick figures who barely hit 130kph and batsmen with the mental fortitude of an earthworm.

You do realize with all of India's "GDP" might, its half of that of the UK's and a tenth of that of the USA's, given its population is 20 times bigger and 6 times bigger respectively, I do wonder. And in 5 years? Where in gods name are India going to find fast bowlers to develop?

I'd say we have the joint best bowling attack in the world now with South Africa. Not sure if many will agree but I reckon our attack now is better than Englands. Khan > Anderson Yadav > Finn Aaron > Broad Sharma > Tremlett Kumar = Bresnan Ashwin = Swann Jadeja > Panesar Bhajj > Patel. What do you guys think?
