IPL did loose a team so they probably lost a lot of viewers in Kochi BCCI would have been better of starting an expansion team in Ahmedabad or Bihar/UP area instead of it going to Pune...... as it was most people from Maharastra supported MI no use in splitting that demographic plus Bihar/UP are one of the most densly populated areas in the country Mostly low scoring games... Dominance of 2 teams has left the rest of the country not so excited Judging by your recent posts, you simply hate IPL and have nothing positive to say. Firstly, Kochi leaving does not have anything to with viewers. It is like saying people from Bihar will not watch IPL as they have no teams. Second point, can be true but that is a combination of politics + lack of infrastructure. Nothing has be blamed and this can only improve in long term not short term. Third point does not make sense, one post you say IPL offers nothing to bowlers, next you are complaining about low scores. Sorry, but there has been no clear pattern in IPL. Plenty of upsets already. Good competitive league that IPL is.
