rkt.india Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Conspiracy theory ...! Please check this link and read it carefully - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16939154 If you want to disprove a scientific argument, you need to do it using proper science. Blanket statements only mean conspiracy theories. Btw, I wonder why CA wanted to save Murali considering they are vehemently against chucking. Yes. I see it as a conspiracy. Were you involved in those testing? How are you so sure those actually took place? They can easily made up these kind of reports. And if everyone chucks then why have limits. Those limits dont prevent any bowler to not break them in the matches. Let all bowlers chuck then. Problem with this 15 degree rule is, no one can be sure if someone bwnding more or not and some bowlers take extra benefit of it.

They "can be made up" but you need to provide definitive proof "if they have". If you can't, it's just a conspiracy theory.
Naaz-neesh Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 very hypocritical of the fatty tunga to say this after he has retired having tasted success on the back of murli's bowling. i think current players were happy to witness ranatunga play, so they avoid become an overweight monster like him.
Lurker Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 very hypocritical of the fatty tunga to say this after he has retired having tasted success on the back of murli's bowling. i think current players were happy to witness ranatunga play, so they avoid become an overweight monster like him. Thats a fair point indeed. Yep Ranatunga did enjoy success off the back of Murali's bowling and it would be ridiculous to assume he had little idea how blatantly Murali chucked all along. Ten years later this becomes mainstream and he goes the pious route. Not buying Sorry.
daryl1985 Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 An observation: Why do these chuckers run up, then do the hop n skip and then deliver. I mean, only when u bowl with a straight arm do u need momentum to create velocity. Now take a look at baseball, where they actually bend their arms. They dnt need to run, then hop n skip and then deliver? They merely stand and deliver. Watching Hafeez bowl, you notice just before delivery he pauses for a brief second. That brief second is my opinion will destroy any arm momentum generated. Thus at the point of delivery, Hafeez generates his force entirely from a bent arm action. The same would hold true for other chuckers as well. This is just a hunch and I hope not too confusing. And yea Ranatunga has totally destroyed the game. And he has the audacity to say he feels sorry for Indian cricket.Hypocrite! Does that mean that Raina is automatically considered a chucker for the pause in his action.
punjabi_khota Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I might have created a monster His dad probably thought same thing right after Tunga was born.
daryl1985 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 LOL i misread the thread headline. Ranatunga is surely having a laugh (i thoughtit was the OP said Ranatunga created a monster). After backing Murali it is insane that he is commenting on the actions of others :hysterical: I had no problem with Murali being cleared but the video of him bowling leg spin with a straight arm casts a lot of doubt on his action.
