Just so that you know that SRT IPL 100 is the slowest in terms of S/R till date in IPL for scores of 100 or more and also in that game SRT scored the ton MI'ans lost.

Maybe he is just not capable now of scoring at the strike rates of a Gayle, a McCullum anymore. Nothing to do with selfishness. In fact in a T20 game, if you slow down you lose any chance of scoring a 100 BTW am intentionaly spoiling/derailing Sir John's thread

It was not like RR was having an RRR of 11 or 12. Last 2 overs required rate was 7.50. Infact Dhoni plays much slower upto last few overs. RR didn't even need a BS over from say a Kohli or chawla or Dan christian. Just sensible batting was needed.

@Vvs rahane missed the trick in last over. he cant hit long or do slog,he underestimated dd bowlers today i think in death. morkel over change whole the match. They should have try to put bat on the every ball instead of slog.which rahane cant. so many wickets nd they didt go for early win. underestimation cost rr match.

To be honest rahane cant slog, he is a player who deals with singles and odd boundaries. He shouldve tried to go for the ball to fetch quick runs and even if he got out owais shah, goswami and others cud finish the game off. However, rajasthan dont have a good lower middle order which cud be a good reason for such reluctancy
